On Sunday we were up bright and early to head on down to Carters Steam fair. When we saw plumes of steam rolling into the sky, we knew we were in the right place to have some good old fashioned fun! Armed with handfuls of old pennies we headed straight for the ‘world famous vintage arcade’, the rows of rainbow coloured games more than made up for the rain outside. We couldn’t resist a whirl on the rock’n’roll dodgems, singing along to Elvis as we zipped around! Of course no trip to the fair would be complete without candyfloss, which we happily munched on the way home. Check out the fair between 19th-21st June when it rolls up to Paradise gardens in Victoria Park.
