Smile when you ask the price - it might just get you a discount, is just one of the helpful suggestions when buying loot from someone's boot. This is exactly how I chose to spend my sunshine filled bank holiday weekend. Accompanied with ice lolly in hand and purse filled with small change I wandered down to my local car boot sale with eager eyes. Such things that caught my eye were boxes filled with colourful buttons at the unbeatable price of 10p a set; vintage tea cups for languidly sipping with a nice piece of cake; an old rockin' horse and my favourite item a vintage pink jelly mould which had to come home with me. Overall I came away with some quirky bits and pieces that I would have had a hard time finding anywhere else - photo below...
