Our super sonic voyage around the UK begins with a South Yorkshire weekender where on Sunday 29th March we’ll find ourselves in Leeds!
The Affordable Vintage Fashion fair rolls around the country with 40-50 stalls of men's and women's vintage clothes, accessories and homewares all at very affordable prices. Aside from vintage clothing from the 1920s - 1980s customers can also find re-worked and handmade clothes and jewellery, crafts, homewares, sale rails from vintage dealers, wholesalers, local shops and up and coming designers. Plus some of your favourite vintage shops from Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester will be holding sale rails and special offers!
The fair is owned by Judy Berger a former Selfridges personal shopper and TV fashion stylist. Judy wanted to bring the eclectic mix of good quality vintage found in her favourite Portobello and Spitalfields stores back to the north. Judy also runs the largest British clothes swap website with over 20,000 members.
With a nostalgic nod back to our days at Portobello Market, we’ve been busy bees reworking and recycling a treasure trove of thrifty finds to go on sale at our stall. Many designs will be one of a kind! Plus we’ll be taking along a HUGE selection of Jazzy Brooches, gold filled Love Tokens and all the snazzy jewellery we source from Paris.
The first 20 customers who spend £10 or over at our stand will receive a Bag O’Freebies! Bag includes a seasonal button badge, fairtrade Lady Luck Rules OK logo tote, flyer pack, online discount card and a lil’ surprise!
