This Halloween I plan to dress as Alfred Hitchcocks finest and most glamorous character............Melanie Daniels, played by Tippi Hedren. But in true Halloween style I'm not just going to glam it up in her Jackie o style suits, I'm going to be Melanie post a good pecking. With one eyeball missing and chunks of flesh and clothing missing and a few nasty birds attached to me for good measure. My boyfriend is going as one of the evil evil birds!!!!
Bring on the charity shop shopping, crafty Bird making and gallons of fake blood!

for this very special night where the dead arise from their graves to go out to dance the last dance, I'm going to put a dress on kidrobot that has the picture of a skeleton with its red heart ... with a half-red and black shoes senior ... a makeup that makes me look like a living dead
I've also thought about the bride dressed in frankstein, as in the movie ... I'm going to have to buy lots of hairspray to get this hairstyle!! jajajaaja!

I'm going to go out this halloween dressed as one of the living dead 1950s housewives, complete with mouldy headscarf and fake slugs eating my arm. I'm also planning on creating some kinda crumbling hoover out of chicken wire to add to my awesome outfit! wehay! have a great halloween! xxx

My favourite idea for a halloween outift consists of wearing all white. I'd wear white tights, white t-shirt and shorts with a fluffy white rabbit tail and ears!
Oh ho ho, you say, we've seen these idea before, generally in Mean Girls and late at night round town where it doesn't have to be Halloween to be scary. But no, I'd be no ordinary bunny, bowing to Playboy. I'd cover all round my mouth and chin and clothes with red lipstick or face paint (washable, of course) and become "The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog"! Yes, the one and only white rabbit with a taste for more than lettuce! The infamous killer rabbit present in the brilliant film: Monty Python and the Holy Grail! This outfit would easily be a talking point, you'd look good and of course it's a good excuse for some classic Monty Python viewing...that's got to be a winner! :)

It's payday next Friday and I'm intending to bag myself a couple of Reko beauties. The following week I'm not planning on going to bed at all... my purchases will need parading!! Naturally it follows that by Halloween night my appearance will take 'looking like death warmed up' to a whole new level :P

This year I plan to dress as a decadently deceased Victorian opium addict. Black lace corset, ruffled layed skirts, feather and pearl fascinator and lace up vintage boots. My pale complexion will be off set by my wine coloured lip stick and deep purple and black shadowed eye sockets. As I stumble around, misty eyed, my words slurred my extra long fake lashes batting at anyone who looks like they can help, my wrists will jingle with vintage reclamation and steam punk bangles and chains, my various trophies from previous.....ahem.....conquests......Fingers heavy with silver and pearl rings, that match my velvet and silver choker, making me look unhealthily pale, I shall sip absinthe in the after life, hoping some day I might taste the smog of London in my lungs once more........

After a fancy dress party titled 'come as your opposite' I was left with an abundance of black and white face paint (I went as a mime artist, go figure...). So, to utilise this I am going to go as Louise Brooks, silent movie star extraordinare. I've got a beautiful black dress to wear and am going to paint myself grey, and carry plaques with all my dialogue on them ('another gin please' and 'why yes, it's 07717876...').

It's going to be great.

this year I am hitting the halloween scene in a girlie styleeeeeeeee! a dead prom queen called 'Little Miss Bloody Valentine'. I will be wearing a frilly, sequined, beaded pale pink number of a ball gown with matching arm warmers. There will also be an Amy inspired black beehive wig with wonky tiara, black smeared eye makeup and pale pink lips - gorgeous!!!!
Now, for the dead part. This girlie prom queen has been stood up by her devilishly handsome date who she is besotted with and has wiped away her tears from one eye so much that the skin has been wiped away and the false fingernails have partly been embedded in the cheek. 'Bloody Valentine's heart is broken and in her distress she rips out her heart which is dangling down her dress. She goes to the prom in search of her date.......
inspiration comes from various low tech horror films including dawn of the dead,evil dead and bad taste. I want a look thats quite horrific but has comedic undertones.

All my friends have said I look like Snow White (compliment or not?) so I've decided to go as her for actual halloween day. However as she is my least favourite disney princess I'm going to change her a little and make her gothic. Think lots of eyeliner, black, ripped tights and of course the famous 'lips as red as blood'. Clothes wise I'm thinking black mini skirt and top with red bows carrying that red apple.

Okay, this Halloween I plan on arriving fashionably late to all the spooky and kooky Halloween bashes as the love interest and now actual wife of one of the most celebrated super villians of all times. I'm going as Harley Quinn, stunning jester-clad lover of the Joker, who as I aforementioned has been celebrated muchly as he was the revitalised by the late gorgeous muffin hunk Heath Ledger in the recent Batman movie, A Knight's Tale.
Sexy and quirky Harley Quinn is delectable villian in her own right, having given do-gooder Batman a hard time whenever something good needs doing.

But Halloween is about doing good, it's about ghouls and frights, and looking totally hott, as well as looking totally dead. So yeah, go Harley Quinn!!

I'll be making it myself, hopefully it will be no mean, spooky feat!!

I plan to be attending a halloween evening dressed as many children's evil foe, the Broccoli. I plan to wear a green dress, covered in a floret pattern, with green tights, green arms and plenty of green make-up. I will wear a headress of (fake) broccoli florets, and hopefully spray paint my hair green to match up.

There is even talk of a basket of broccoli treats to hand out to other partygoers.

This halloween i will dress as a character out of one of my two fave films, Chicago or Hairspray! Can't you tell i love musicals?? I would not want to buy anything new or expensive to create the outfit, if its only going to be worn once, i seem to do that a lot!! Tracy Turnbald from Hairspray would be simple, maybe too simple, a white shirt, check skirt, bob beehive wig, or i could ask my mum who is a hairdresser to whip me up a beehive on myself, and some padding. I would prefer to be more glam though! Velma Kelly and Roxie Heart from Chicago would be perfect, some sparkle and glitz, i have a short grey dress covered in glitter which has only been worn once to a party, that would work, also some pale colour fishnets, and silver heels, dark red lips, powerful eye make-up and shimmery bronzed cheeks. I would be Roxie heart because i have white blonde hair like she does on the film. My friend will go as Velma kelly, she is Brunette so we will look like a great pair together! We will dance and sing the night away at her halloween party!! Hopefully there will be karioke!!

Recently I brought a gorgeous tattoo dress (printed with mermaids, roses, stars, hearts etc) , and have been dying for an excuse to wear it, so this halloween I plan to do something a bit different. I will wear the dress and cover my body in hand-painted tattoos, temporary tattoos and glitter for effect (and prettiness!), and then add fake blood over the top, gruesomely dripping down my arms and neck, and try to scour out some red eyeliner to make my eyes look bloodshot and poisoned...death by tattoos; sounds like a novel way to go! It's a tiny mini dress so plenty of my body will be on show, and I've done the whole 'sexy witch' thing before, so want to branch out...and look a bit more colourful and electric on halloween!

Failing that, if I won this Reko dress (I wish!) I would disregard all the above and wear that instead :) .. (and also wear it the next day, and the next, and to bed..everywhere really....though I just might take it off to shower..)

After years of dressing up as Halloween-related characters I've decided to incorporate my love for the 50s into my outfit this year! I'll be going as a 50s pin-up soda pop waitress, complete with powder pink dress and little pink hat, but zombie gore style! It's going to be the bloodiest, cutest pink mess you ever saw! Me and my friends are having a 2-day Halloween bonanza and I don't know what to wear on the 2nd day, so that dress would be PERFECT for it, I'm obsessing over it already and don't know what I'll do without it!!!

This Halloween will be a dear friends 20 plus 5 birthday! She has decided to step away from tradition and to have an 'All things Retro' theme. In light of this change I have decided to dress as a shiny disco ball. For this I have silver hair and a hanger placed on top in case anyone wants to suspend me from the ceiling. I have also hand made a giant disco ball using paper machie tinfoil and silver paint. And will paint myself head to toe in silver. Let there be shine.

The beautiful dress would be a perfect present for the two of us to share :o)

i have gone full out with the cleopatra theme as i have a big interest in the egyptian scene! its a flowy gown but then i am mummified and have make up like a zombie so its like she came back from the dead..i want to try put some dead insects for effects..a la The Mummy..so i look corpse like but still the queen!!!!

i'm planning on going to see the misfits on halloween dressed up as dr frankenfurter from the rocky horror picture show! i LOVE tim curry in that movie! what a creep! but i've always thought he was a strangely sexy creep - corset and fishnets and gorey make-up! and i'm def. gonna be in character as long as possible, lol

This halloween me and my boyfriend are going to a party as hospital zombie staff. I have a nurse outfit and he has a surgeons and we're going completely OVERBOARD with the fake blood and full body makeup. I am smearing it all in my hair, mouth, arms and on WHITE tights. i'm going to be stained but i dont care! we are going to have white base paint with blue and black around the eyes. I love zombies there my favourite movie thing. Also to set it off nicely i am wearing a hospital badge that i made with 'Raccoon city hospital' and a umbrella logo in honour of my favourie films Resident Evil. The pub is straight across the road from a hospital too so strangers might get scared lol :D xx

I'm going to go as a buzzing bumblebee. not very spooky, you might think, but there is nothing scarier than a bee invading your picnics, especially one which can sting! )

For halloween I plan to go as a bond girl - but a vampy version!

I will wear my homemade skirt of fake chinchilla fur and orange silk! With a fur coat, orange killer heels, deep red lipstick, a gaunt pallid face, spiderwebs painted on my cheeks and deep hollow dark circles under my eyes! I'll have my long hair flying in the wind! And not forgetting I shall have my vampy LLROK earrings of course! I will also be accompanied by my friend, and he is going as a werewolf version of James Bond!

This Halloween I’m mixing my love of lace, pastry and Helena Bonham Carter and dressing up as Mrs Lovett from Sweeney Todd. My costume recipe is as follows:
Take 1 tablespoon of red velvet vintage corset and mix well with 1 cup of white lacy blouse.
Melt 2 cups of skirt with a dash of britches. Whisk a pair of black lace gloves. Combine all ingredients and place in oven to rise.
Garnish with raggedy curls and bright red lips.

I plan to accessorize my outfit with home made mini mince pies.
Don’t worry, I don’t own any kittens!

For halloween this year i am dressing up as a twister board! I saw it on google when i was searching and i fell in love with it! It cuts off just above the knee and it a boob tube. It has the board as the dress and as the hat it is the spinner board! Its not scary, but its so imaginative and i love it! It comes with blood red colour lipstick and knee high blood red boots, which are leather. Its so different, i know that no one else will have it!
That's the best bit, and if i win the dress no one else will have it either! I love having one of a kind clothes, its what makes me individual!
With clothes you can express who you are, there are no limits.

I'm going as a deep-sea pirate! Plunder the low seas! With big boots, stockings, knee length corset dress with huge frills on the hem, which i will pin up to my hip...a chiffon, frilly blouse...loads of pearls and cameo necklaces, a copper colour charm bracelet with shells and beads on, waist belt, barnacle-y sword, a gun that doesn't work because it is wet, and of course a coin purse filled with shells and pebbles. Then i will paint myself blue and grey :D

well mine is just before halloween, for club noir on the 25th in glasgow. I am going to be a dead prom queen. not in the style of carrie with the pigs blood massacre however, with a beautiful burgundy prom dress [ i got it on sale in tk maxx ] shredded up and a ton of fake blood and latex to recreate the look of a slit throat! and of course maggots and spider web a plenty in my hair topped off with a pretty tiara. coz you know i was still the prom queen. its going to be amazing!

I am either going as a mobile phone (not scary i know but i have a phobia of talking on the phone) or a dead Jane Fonda with a leotard, legwarmers, black eyes andan axe in my back!

I was going to describe in some detail my Victorian Burlesque outfit with a goth twist. Then I read that someone is going to be dressed as broccoli. Competition over! Failing that, my mate Em should win - she has hand-made a rubik's cube costume that is the bomb!

And a pair of pointed shoes, I am also wearing my hair in a slicked-back bun! going for the royal ballet look here! But... major but, I am not going to look like a beautiful prancy ballerina, things start to get creepy here... I am going to drip fake blood down the ballet outfit , My hair will be highlighted with green glow in the dark hair dye, and my black eyeliner will be thicker than thick! I will smudge my mascara and have trails of it down a porcelain white face!
I also will rip my tights and apply fake scabs in every space possible! My pointed shoes will be dyed black and i will draw cobwebs all over them in...tippex!
My neck will be adorned with skull candy and some freakaicious jekyl and hyde dolls!!

This year, I'm going a bit different...

I'm going to Bristol (from Swansea uni) to see Alphabeat at Bristol Uni....
Sooooo....our thoughts were that Alphabeat aren't really a very 'Halloweeny' band, they're more of a pop, fun, silly band.
Sooooooooo.......we're going completely overboard and silly (like them!) and we're going dressed as fruit!!!!

I'll be wearing a red dress, covered in yellow 'pips' (yellow paint!), bright scarlet tights, also with pips and a green headband adorned with a home made fabric/card stalk!

I will be accompanied by my pineapple boyfriend, a pumpkin, a granny smith apple (complete with sticker!) and a bunch of grapes.

I'm very excited!!!

i'm putting vampire teeth in from a joke shop.I am going to wear one of my grandma's old dresses which is white and long. it already has a few stains and rips in, she was going to throw it away. I'm drawing scars on my arms also. :)

this halloween i plan to dress up as alice, the girl who fell down the rabbit hole and came out mentally distraught, her innocence has been stolen away by the uncanny and eerie characters she met in this so called "wonderland" and now she preys on the living, eating their flesh and brains...

as she believes she is a zombie!

Well if im honest, i haven't actually got a costume yet =[ but if i did, I'd have to go as a voodoo doll. My skin would be wounded all over.. bandages around my arms, stitches down my neck. Maybe even an axe wound to my leg ;) I'd have stitches on my face, too .. and loads of fake blood oozing out of my gashes. Every inch of my skin would be cut and I'd carry round a huge home made needle, blood dripping off the end ;) For my actual clothes, I'd probably go for a gothic theme. I'd wear a tutu.. red net on the bottom and black on top. It would have a silky black elasticated waste. I'm not really sure for a top. Maybe a black, ripped vest top. I'd paint my skin snowy white (apart from the cuts, that is :P) As for my hair, I'd have to backcomb it and spray paint it with glitter so it would light up :P I'd make my mascara run down my face as if I'd been crying and paint my lips bright red.
If i'm honest, I probably won't be this for halloween as I have zero money :L but if i did have the money, I would most definitely go as this ;)

This year I am going as the shower scene from Psycho! I take Halloween a bit seriously so I've spent aaaaages making a shower rail (hooked on by straps like a big backpack) and I'm attaching a shower curtain. Underneath I'll be wearing flesh coloured clothing and I have a friend who is dressing up as 'Mother'. Pull back the rail and we reenact the scene! :D

For halloween I'm going to be dressing up as a creepy clown girl. I've managed to make a white lace ruff, found an old black dress and a grey and black cone clown hat. Make up wise think Japanese theatre mask/ Robert smith. In all I'll probably end up like a slightly gothier version of David Bowie's Clown. Can't wait! x

I am wearing old Primark Skinnies [Distressed Obv] And Ripped them like madd! And Put a few patches of old material on here and there.
Then I am wearing Blood Red tights underneath for a Jazzy Look.
I have put some blood down the side too to make me look extra Scaryy Mwahahah!
Then for the top I have got this amazing Neon Purple Jumper with Big neon Vamp Lips on it :D To keep me cosy while I go out and get Free Candy!
Then when I go to the party I am going to I have this Black Vest top [Yes it is from primark haha] And it has lace on the top for a gothicy sexy Look.
Then I have yet again cut holes in it for a scary look and I am wearing a neon pink vest top underneath that.
I am going to crimp all of my hair and then backcomb it HUGE :D [Ohh yes I am taking it Old School (H)] Hahaha. Then stick a few skull clips in for added Spook!
Dont even get me started on my make-up Hahah, i am going for the Full Thriller/ Panda Eyes Effect :P

Inspired, at long shot, by Glastonbury festival. I brought a particularly beautiful corseted dress there last year, the under layer is white and it is covered in black lace with lace lining the top. It also has a wonderful corset, cross string effect on the front and back to a just for size. The best saloon girl part however is the ruffled mini skirt, three layers of black lace and bows.
Couple that with some 5 inch TUK heels, with a mary Jane style bow and frill (these shoes cemented my love for my mother, she picked them up at the charity shop for £4!) And some thigh High black sock with red bows and you have A sexy saloon girl!
(outfit will also come with a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass, just to remind me of the glastonbury days, many a person went back to their tent happy after a shot of tesco's own) Happy Fright Night!

For Hallowe'en this year, I plan to dress up as SuperGirl, I will have Red shorts, a vest top with the superman logo on (from topshop) and knee high, bright red and blue socks with blue dolly shoes, and a red hair band and yellow necklace to go with it. I'll back-comb my hair and have "SUPERGIRL!" written on my shorts. Me and my friends will probably be either going trick or treating, or staying at home watching scary movies, which I'm the only one who likes them so I'll be shouting "kill him" whilst me friends are being cowards behind the sofa.
I can't WAIT till hallowe'en, Its going to be so much fun!!!!

For Halloween this year i intend on going out dressed as an electro girl from The mighty boosh!. I'm going to find a long sleeved stripey t-shirt and a bright pink t-shirt, I'm going to attach lots of pin badges and a huge black corsage I am also going to find some bright tights and a tutu, and possibly a silver jacket! im going to crimp my hair and put neon make-up on =] i am actually really excited!

This Halloween I am a wily Cat Burglar, with fluffy ears on an alice band and a fluffy tail, an eye mask (so no-one will be able to tell it's me - Robin style), dressed in a stripey black and white top, black pvc leggings and high platform boots, because everyone knows that the easiest way to scale a high rise is in platform boots and peel off trousers ;o) Finally, my SWAG bag, made from a black satin pillow case, in case I also need a cat nap mid theft. Meow!

This Halloween I'm going to get dressed up as the irrepressable and incomperable Sally Bowls from the classic film Cabaret. I'm going to wear black stockings and suspenders(or black tights , you know the ones with the seductive line up the back,depending on my mood and how cold it is!) with black hot pants , a black waistcoat and the definitive bowler! But to give myself a more mysterious ,beguiling and halloween vibe I plan to apply a lot of talc to my arms and face (and any other showing parts) to make my skin very pale and wear deep,bright red lipstick and then a clear gloss on top to make them big and glossy old time hollywood style and of course I'm having smokey dark eyes seductive but gothic and vampish! I'm also wearing thick chunky patent black high heels (to accentuate my legs of course!) I may also add some of my cherished vintage fake diamonds (possibly my beautiful 'bib' like necklace) to set off the black and the outfit. End result: Sally Bowls with a touch of Rocky Horror glamour.

This Halloween I have decided to dress up as what I like to call:
"Malice in Horrorland"
It is my freakishly devilish take on the traditional Alice and Wonderland.
I'll be sporting a blue Alice band, embellished with black lace and cobwebs!
A cutesy blue mini dress with puff sleeves, and white tulle/ruffled petticoat underneath. A lacey apron around the waist.
And several blood splatters on the outfit itself for a zombie-esque feel.
Torn, lacey fish net stockings (inspired by Rodarte)
with cute white knee high socks, with black bows for a mismatch effect.
(the socks will be at different levels - one around my ankles, one up to my knee)
and black leather pumps!
I'll be wearing gothic styled makeup in the form of thick black eyeliner and eyeshadow, long fake eyelashes, and I'm trying to choose between black or dark plum lipstick.
And I'll also be messing/teasing my hair like mad :)

Fake blood poured over myself with extra white face powder. Russian red lipstick with extra volume false eyelashes. Also getting a hair fascinator with netting. This halloween is going to be extra special as recently when i was helping my grandmother move house i uncovered a box full of her clothes from when she was young including a gorgeous vintage wedding dress she wore for her wedding. She saw the look on my face when i saw it and said i could have it but when was i going to get the chance to wear it. Halloween of course! so in just a few weeks i will be trekking my local area as a vampire bride with deathly pale skin and rouged lips and of course vampire teeth. I'm going to dye my hair black so it contrasts better with the white veil. Of course i shall be wearing long fake eyelashes and im considering buying ice blue contact lenses to add something extra to my face. Oh and lets not forget the killer heels that i found in my local charity shop. Im going all out on the Vintage Horror theme this year.

This halloween I have organised an outing with my Scuba Diving commitee at University therefore we have to incorporate water in the costume. I was thinking as going as a Scuba diver Zombie therefore my skin will be blue (instead of the traditional green) and i will wear my mask (or draw one on so i can breath) and snorkel. I am also going to attach my cuddly toy Dory the fish (from Finding Nemo) to my shoulder like a pirate would a parrot. We are then off to hit the uni followed by a night on the town and having a meal.

This year i am not dressing up as anyone in particular just my own stylle thing. I plan to wear a bright orange top with a black netting top over the top To go with that a black mini skirt and stripey orange and black long socks with my black boots. Accessory wise i would wear some black fingerless gloved with some orange bracelets. I'm going with the whole bright but gothic thing this year. Totally different form last year. I'd curl my hair and then put some orange and black ribbon around some of the coals. i won't over do my makeup tho soo i'd have bright red lipstick and a white face with a bit of blusher. i'd also wear some long necklaces and paint my nails orange and black (: . i have never gone this extreme before at halloween but this year i would really LOVE to win that dress. LoL. Here's hoping i win xx thanks

For Halloween I am going to dress up as a dead school child!!!
I will be dressed in an old ripped shirt with stationery in the pocket- covered in blood and dirt, and a waist coat with badges I brought from LLROK on it, and a ripped school skirt, black laddered tights with a coloured pair underneath, an old school tie with ‘DEAD cool for skl’ tippexed on it, and my hair is going to look so big and messy and unkempt I am going to hang spiders and cobwebs in it and aslo for that school girl look I’ll wear a cute bow head band, and my face is going to look dead white with big black bags under my eyes and scars across my face and blood running out of the wounds all over my body and some worn out dolly like school shoes. I’m going to go round with a metal lunch box with a scary surprise in side!!!!! And to add a spooky effect I’m going to skip everywhere I go humming a nursery rhyme. My inspiration of this outfit is many things, one of them is just school in general, Shaun of the dead is one but I’m not going to go round biting people another one is…MY BROTHER!!! lol.

This Halloween, my costume is going to be really cool: Im going as an Action Figure still in its box!

To do this Im getting a huge box and cutting out on of the biggest sides (this way i can get in it), I am then going to cut holes in each side that will fit my arms and legs through...
Im not quite sure which action figure to go as I might invent one; but Im going to buy a cheap clear shower curtain to stick over the front of the box and going to make a huge label with my action figure name on it e.g. if i wanted to be a scary doll:Zombie Bride/ or Barbie if I wanted to be a Barbie.

I would paint the box in a colour that is relevant to the doll I go as and dress accordingly...
If I won the dress I would go as a "ONE OF A KIND HALLOWEEN DOLL!", just like the dress, I would backcomb my hair and make it huge, with dark scary makeup, ripped tights, and terrifyingly high heels!
Im going to a huge party and I think everyone would be astonished by the my costume!!!

I made a mistake last year as going as a zombie/fairy/smudgy-make-up/weirdo. although im 13 i still enjoy a spot of trick or treating each year however last year by the end of the night my gothic make up had failed & smudged, and my ripped tights had to be taken off cause i couldnt resist ripping them even more. Soo this year to save my embarrasment me and my friend are going to a halloween-dress-to-impress-disco as super heroes! im wearing my favourite red-yellow-blue primary coloured lace up pumps, blue leg warmers, black tights, a black netted tutu skirt, and a SUPERMAN TEE. and my friend, rosie, as batman.. i mean woman..
my hair usually is a mess so it wont be hard to give it that messy back combed affect, and ive got dozens of face paint & glitter paint sticks and all sorts to make the outfit even better. im really looking forward to it (: (:

Butt... a totally different kind of dorothy a kind of zombie one.
I'd wear the same gingham dress but dark blue.. But i'd rip the dress and stain it with fake blood. instead of long white socks i;d have black fishnet tights and black rocker boots. I'd back comb my hair and out hairspray on it. i'd have my makeup all pale and white. With bright red lipstick on and mascara but all smudged with dark eyeshadow on.
have painted blood red nails and wear a couple of black bracelets.

This Halloween I’ve been inspired by the super cute amazing witches from Hocus Pocus. I watched the film and couldn’t wait for Halloween to don the stripy tights and raggedy clothes.
I’ve found the perfect costume. A beautiful old fashioned black dress with crushed velvet skirt, which poufs up when I twirl round. The front of it has creepy swampy coloured ribbon detailing which laces up like a corset. I really can’t wait to back comb my bleach blonde hair and dangle spiders from the fro! I searched for so long to find a dress that was just right. And on my student budget it was really hard! But I did it yey! Me and my Mum are going to be doing each others make-up and we’re going all out with dark shadowy eyes and clashing deep red lipstick!! I have an amazing deep gold coloured necklace with a giant angry looking, squiggly octopus too. Plus I’ve persuaded my boyfriend to dress up as the spooky skeleton singer from the same film with top hat and all. Bette Midler was the best and I hope her witchy character would be proud of her protégée witch!
Im going out to a Halloween ball with my friends the week before Halloween and this FROCK HORROR dress would be spooktacular to wear that night!! Happy Halloween!

I've been inspired by your miss jekyl and sister hyde. So for halloween i'm going to go as a Gothic doll on one side and a saint on the other. I've bought a black baby doll dress and splattered it in red paint (to look like blood) on one side and the other i have painted white.. I have white fishnet tights that are now half red. and one black one white wrist high glove as well as very very black lipstick to weaon one side and clear gloss on the other. I intend to back comb my hair and complete it with a black/ a white bow. i will have a chalk white face with dark black eyes and red lash extentions on one side and rosy cheeks pale eyes on the other side. To top it off i have two different shoes one black one pink.

for hallo'een i am thinking of going as llily munster from the munsters! i love the munsters...best tv show ever! i'm gonna wear a vintage white maxi peasant dress that i'm gonna sew biiig floaty flutter sleeves on to. oooh and add black ribbon in a criss crossy sorta way (google lily munster and you'll see what i mean =) )

my hair's black already so ill just get some white hair extension clippy things. darrrrk eye makeup. hmm might add a green tint to my skin also? yah! thats me.

Never again will i arrive at a Halloween party dressed as a witch or spooky black cat.....no no no! This year I shall be tottering downstairs (as the party is being held in my very own house - wonderful!) dressed as the rather wonderful Helena Bonham-Carter but with a twist......i shall be dressed as the lovely HBC as she would look were she involved in a rather nasty car accident, died then came back to life to avenge her death! Not that i want HBC to be involved in any such scenario you understand, not at all for she is magnificent. So my outfit will consist of a crazy curled backcombed hair affair, complete with cobwebs, a face and body full of scabs, blood and ooze complete with a rather lovely gothic black lace dress and high high shoes. All this will be topped off with a rather bloody knife! It's different and i don't think we'll have too many of me at the party......at least i hope not!!

I've been inspired by Spike Milligan's book 'Badjelly the Witch'. I'll be wearing a black and purple tu-tu dress with black and white striped tights and thick black woolley socks with black leather boots. I've made some sequin wings and carved a twig into a wand. There's going to be lots of backcombing and a beaded spider nesting in my hair, with red lips and nails to match. And to top it all off I'll wear my black elbow length fingerless gloves. Can't wait for the halloween party!

I have decided to go as Little Red Riding Hoood (having been attacked by the wolf) and I have bought a very cute 50'sinspired red halter neck dress which I am goingto decorate with red and black fabric paint to show blood and dirt, I am going to make rips and slshes in my dress to show I have been attacked :P
I have alsoe bought a lot of red fabric to make my hood/cape which i am going to rip aswell. I also have some knee-high black socks with red bows on the tops to continue the retro 50s style. i am going to have smeared red lipstick and 'cuts' on my cheeks and im will back-comb my hair and then put it in plaits for a very rock-chick-chic style hehe...

I am wearing an alice in wonderland costume i got from a shop in altrincham, and have customised it with quirky handmade (felt/cardboard/fabric from old clothes/whatever i can find) characters from the mad hatters tea party and the "tulgey wood" scene (glasses bird, horn ducks, mome raths etc) sewn randomly all over.
Classic but original!
But have nothing to wear on the actual halloween night! hence why i need this dress!

This year i plan on dressing Dorethy from the wizard of oz but with a twist, im going to have my bleach blonde hair tempereriley dyed red the color of blood and a were a knife head band i found in the local super market , i am going to tye dye a white t-shirt so that it is red and white and use a bit of fake blood around the hair line and on the top of my pinafore dress , i am going to have very gothic looking eyes (as i were glasses permantley i have to do something bold with them or nobody would notice) i am going to were white tights with fake blood on the legs and of course the sparkley red dolly shoes.

This year I'm wearing a mans white shirt, to wear as a dress to look like a lab/doctors coat, splatter it with blood, fake of course ;] team it up with a stylish stethascope and complete the look with false fingers as a necklace and fill the shirt pocket with false eyeballs, and to top it all off with a fuzzy backcombed barnet! My theme was a doctor that cuts up her patients. The inspiration is Sweeny Todd meets Frankenstein meets the most glamourously disturbed doctor you ever saw :D xx

Well, this year, it was very hard to find a new style or character.. All my friends already knew what to wear.. Here in the netherlands, it's not a big thing, not many people pay attention to Halloween, so it's even harder to find ideas, costumes etc....
I thought; It must be something special, never seen before, but a bit spookey...
So i was surfing on this site againand i suddenly knew it, i'm going to be:

Even if I don't win this dress, i will 'win' de titel "best outfit"! No doubt about that! My mother is going to buy the goth doll for me, so i'll be complete.

After much deliberation between cat (not scary enough) and zombie (yawn..) I have decided to combine the two and become a zombie cat! Inspired by every zombie film I have ever seen, my cat Cedric and a weird film called Cat People I watched last weekend I am going to transform into the flesh eating, living dead cat! I got a kids full cat costume from a well known supermarket (:P) and I'm simply gonna zombie myself up! Face paint, fake blood, dirt and leaves from my empty grave, claws, etc etc! meow!

i really didn't have a clue what to wear for Halloween...i didn't want to dress up as your usual witch or vampire etc, and then i saw this dress!!! omg gorgeous or what!! Anyway, i think for halloween i would probably come as a female version of Gloomy Bear!! she already has the blood around her mouth and over her body...i would then add some 'bear' ears (similar to bunny ears but smaller :P) then i would add furry gloves and add really long claws to them...with blood on the tips of the claws of course!! i then would add a gloomy bear t-shirt with fake blood on it (i have some that comes of clothes :D) and a really bright neon coloured tutu skirt...complete with neon coloured tights...splattered with blood! and my high ankle boots. i would also have red coloured contact lenses in, a bears nose over my own, and really dark eyes (think lots of black eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, fake eyelashes etc) with bright red lips to go with the blood, i would also back-comb my hair, and smear fake blood in it too!!

this halloween im going to go as the judder man, well woman. im going to down alot of black food colouring so that is stains my teeth and makes them creepy. im then going to spary my hair with siver hair spray and make it stand straight up, i will also paint my face and arms siver and wear a silver jumpsuit, back to the face i will also put black around my eyes and have scaryerly long black finger nails, oh and silver pointed toe shoes.

This year for halloween me and my mates are going as "Trinnians with a twist". Yeah you may think, oh little school girls aren’t very frightening, but we are! We are meeting at my house then getting changed into our ghoulish gowns, we’re wearing shredded school shirts with fake blood spilling out the slits, backcombing our hair and putting fake spiders in it and fake cobwebs. And just to give it that "undead" feel were making our faces icy white with heavy black eye shadow and smudging our mascara and eyeliner down our faces to show the hard time we’ve had have the afterlife. What with hanging out with all those zombie corpses :P. To accessorize we are going to wear red false eyelashes and bright blood red lipstick to match. Also, were going to wear long false nails which are going to be painted red. To top all this witchcraft off we are wearing tarty tartan skirts, to give it the St Trinnians feel, with fish net tights with holes in them. On our hands were wearing bangles on each wrist, all from charity shops, and Victorian school like rings. And to make this outfit spookily spectacular, we will be wearing killer heels, and getting ready to paaaaaaarty :D!!!!
Our inspiration came from St Trinnians the film, and horror films with dead zombies in them, and when we mixed all of our halloween theme ideas together, me and my mates came up with the theme "Trinnians with a twist"!!!!!
Cant wait till halloween now we’ve all got our outfits ready.

This Halloween, prepare for scare, as if gothic could get any more. I have gone the whole mile this year, after years of witches and wizards, mummies and bats, I leave myself with no option. To dress, as my inner self. I will be painted head to toe, even places which should not be painted, it’s a risk I am willing take, in a gallon and three quarters of black paint. This will be accompanied with my already black hair, recently cut into an amazing, if I do say so myself block fringed, straight bob which I have already experimented on, with the help of a dear friend. After pot after pot of gel and about two dozen cans of hair spray it manages to solidify. I have ordered the most fabulous black contact lenses which I hope will set it all off. I’m not bothered about style, just a pair of old dr martins, some short shorts and a ruffled old blouse (all black of course) I felt that there was nothing left to add to this human chalk board than some cherry red lips.

I hope this has been useful information, to be quite truthful I just really wanted to let people know of my ideas and hopefully someone will appreciate my effort.

My halloween begins at school...as we all know, the scariest place on earth.
I shall be wearing a white t-shirt, over this a stripy v-neck jumper. Grey jeans and white trainers will complete the look.
okay, so far, so ordinary.
as i enter the school gates i will be greeted by someone dressed just like me, then another, then another. We will all be walking with the same, catlike gait and making a lot of sarcastic jokes.
If you haven't guessed, me and all these other students are dressing up as....my friend luke. Right down to his behavior. Maybe we could arrange following him from class to class.
Imagine his shock and fear as he sees the school has been taken over by a horde of Luke-clones!

Me and my mate have both been inspired by two wondorous actresses of our time, who have brought happiness and drama to our living rooms...

DOT COTTON and PAT BUTCHER, yes you heard right ;p

And as for the fashion aspect of this? Well, who could compare the over sized, ear lope wrenching earings of PAT and the high waist-to-floor dress's of DOT. Not forgetting the the two sensual side curls, and neon pink lipstick.

I will most definitely be spending my cash on a charity shop floral shirt, beads, a waist high thick skirt with an almighty oversized thick cardy. Not forgetting, hair rollers, bag and an essential broach borrowed from my granny!

As for scary?

Well... Skeletons, Draculas, andzombies are old now.. wouldn't you be shocked by an exagerated DOT COTTON and PAT BUTCHER! ;)

Inspired by a japanese advert for Mcdonald's, I'm going to dress up just like him but a girly version-red and white striped tights, striped jersey, yellow dress, yellow gloves and red boots and a sleek red wig. And to create an even creepier effect, my clown make up is going to be carelessly smudged across my face. x

this halloween im keeping it quirky and original, inspired by the beautiful ladies from the '40s, like Monroe herself, i'm going as a zombie/sailor pin up girl, so pale (dead) skin, beautiful vintage dress covered in "blood" and the highest of heels with a cute sailor hat, back combed hair and make up a goth would be proud of.
My friends having a party and she said we are not allowed to just put on a cute pair of animal ears and say thats our outfit. So this year i'm going all out!!

Every year for halloween i wear the same outfit, which is unintentionally quite horrific, because i've never got round to getting a new one... it's a skeleton all in one which was like £2 from this cheap shop called 'right price' full of tacky stuff, it's supposedly glow in the dark, it's way too big for me, it didn't come with hands or feet, so i bought them separately, so they don't match. The hands are both for your left hand, great, so one of them is ripped from wearing it on the wrong hand. The feet are made of material- they go over your shoes, so are completely ripped from wearing them every year. The mask is also from another shop, and is actually quite scary. I would attach a picture if i knew how. As you can tell, i really need something new to wear on halloween. I know i didn't exactly answer the question you asked, but please give me a chance! the dress is so cute.

I'm going (randomly) as the Alan Partridge Zombie :) This involves taping biscuits to my face as flakey skin, taping tungsten tip screws to my fingers as zombie nails, wearing a shower curtain as a cape, a kettle cord as a tail, wearing a shower cap, a rubber bath mat as a flap of skin, and also dressing as the man himself as with shirt and trousies. I will of course have the classic white face and red dripping blood! :)

this year i'm going to go as a zombie, i'm going to wear an old grey striped skirt and dye it different shades of red and green. then my top will be strappy with another bright blue baggy top on top of one shoulder with more rips through it, i am going as a teen zombie from michael jackson's music video 'thriller'. i'm going to walk like a zombie and paint my face like a zombie, sorta pale with mud marks here and there, with purple circles around my eyes with dark red lipstick. i will be wearing long black socks with flats. almost school girl who died and has risen in the witching hour. i'm going to get some colour spray to spray my hair green and black to add more wackiness to my look, back brush it to give it volume! i can't wait to go and party in my scary little outfit! wooo! x

I plan to either go to my students union or a local gig,both fancy dress,and i plan to crimp my hair and wear a glitteri witches hat i bought from tesco,purple tights,pinstripe short shorts,a black vest top and a wooly laddery top i bought from topshop and some high heel brogues and some fancy make up :D

Well i had lots of ideas, corpse bride, witch, the creepy girl from the ring.....

Sorry Lady Luck I know you love Bambis :/ I've sewn up a furry jumpsuit (complete with ears!) and got a nice big bow for my neck, all I need now is some bullet wounds, and to learn how to walk on all fours :/ My sister Natsi is going as a dead rat in a trap! She bought a grey fluffy coat to make the rat outfit for her to wear, and is sticking together a trap out of cardboard to go on her back,let's hope there's enough space for her costume wherever we end up, the box-trap is looking pretty big!

I am going to celebrate Halloween as a PROM-ZOMBIE.

I will have scary white skin (no make up needed unfortunately!) and will hopefully be wearing your Reko dress or I will end up looking like the creepy monster guy from Pan's Labyrinth.

I will glam it all up with my LLROK Night of the Vampire fangs necklace and lots of carefully co-ordinating fake blood and gore.

I will of course be accompanied by my Bloody Valentine Pez-Dave who will be dressed as a giant Pez dispenser.

Well until I saw that most excellent dress, I had been planning on going as Alex de Large from A Clockwork Orange. I love his monochrome outfit, and how his droogs don't pull off the outfit like he does, and his adoration of the old fake eyelashes. I realise he's a bit weird, but as an anti-hero he's pretty damn spiffing. When I told my friends about this plan, they said 'but he's scary!' and I thought 'isn't that the point of halloween?' so I shall be wandering around with bottles of 'Korova' milk, speaking in the old 'nadsat' including 'eggy-weggs', calling my parents P and M, and causing controversy with my bowler hat and cane. He is a brilliant character; although the ultra-violence and rape are awful. He shows how charisma and general amazingness seem to cover up corruption nowadays. And what an accent!!! But my best friend is apparently going as a 'goth hedgehog', and I'm worried this will beat my outfit, so I NEED that Reko dress! We can't let the goth hedgehogs bring us down, man!

This year I'm going as Cherry from Robert Rodriguez's gore masterpiece "Planet Terror." With a full-on bloody stump for a leg and faux-machine gun peg. But in my interpretation, she also fell to the virus and now has her face half melted off, and open sores everywhere. I've been working on it since March, so hopefully it'll be epic.

In my opinion Halloween is the BEST celebration of the year!
I have these amazing custom fit vampire fangs which I was planning to wear to college on Halloween but then I found out we're gonna be on our hols by then so I can't do that :( Woulda been good tho coz my friend also has some and in our media class we're studying horror movies so it would have been soo cool! (even though I'm mostly spending my media classes hiding behind people at the moment...)

BUT I am still being a vampire, all dolled up and gothic with my little black dress and my fave red heels :D And I'm gonna back brush my hair to be massive and tons of red and black make up too. I have this cute red wrap around thingy which I'm gonna wear over the top of it all. No fake blood, no ripped clothes. The idea behind this is to look pretty much like I'm just dressed up to be going out...until I smile at people and they see my fangs haha. Trust me it works :) Almost gave my mum a heart attack!

The other thing I've always wanted to do but never managed is to be an alien!!
I wanted toutterly cover myself in body paint to be green and tattoo my face, buy a blue wig, dress all in silver, silver and blue make up, antenna, glitter ect ect.
So far no luck on that front, although I have made myself some rather nice antenna out of wire which also work well with my tiara = alien princess!!

This year me and my friends are dress as pretty pirtates!
My inspiration? This is kinda weird but we all adore peter pan! :)
My outfit includes a pink and black striped tutu with black tights and knee high boots with big silver buckles on them.
my outfit also includesa silky pink vest top with a black corset over it.
To top it off I have a black pirate hat with pink ribbons on it and a pink sparkley sword!

This Halloween I am going to be on an aeroplane coming home from Hong Kong.
So I am going to take my aged 5-6 spider outfit with me (bearing in mind i'm 17!), my stripey tights with big holes in, my black cowboy boots, and my fairy wings which i have spray painted black.
I am going to wear reeeally heavy black eye make up, with a tiny droplet of blood coming from my chin.
Hopefully everyone on the airplane won't be too scared, as I am going to look horrific :)
If they ask me to leave, I shall simply jump out of an emergency exit, and flutter down to earth using my magic black wings :D
And then hopefully when I get home, there will be a lovely package on my doorstep from LadyLuckRulesOk containing the AWESOME printed dress!

Well, although it may seem a little lazy I'm going to have to employ my best voodoo skills in resurrecting my oh-so-successful costume of last year as I will appear before others' horrified eyes as the Corpse Bride. My cream corset top and raggedy skirt will serve ideally as my wedding dress/shroud, and black calf-height baseball boots will punk it up nicely. My sallow, deathly-white face shall be topped with dark hair styled in that ever so desirable just-out-of-the-grave look, covered with my ripped, trailing veil fashioned out of torn lace. Wearing one skeleton glove (and of course a beautiful ring), my other hand shall be holding a single red rose, the colour of my lips. Nothing of course will compare with the expression in my bruised and heavily mascaraed eyes (unless perhaps it was the divine Reko dress...!)

On Halloween night, I'm going to a viewing of Nosferatu accompanied by a spooky sweltze organ.
The night after I am attending a fancy dress party to which I plan to go as Annie Chapman, one of Jack the Rippers victims, I am going to wear a corset and long skirt with a lace petticoat and I plan to make a hair decoration with a big feather. I shall stuff some flesh coloured tights with pink & red tissue paper and stick them through the top, (for guts) I shall also draw a nice red line round my throat.

i've got a forest green dress, blinged up with tinsel, baubels and the obligatory battery powered flashing fairy lights- ive also got a rather fetching paper mache star on a spring for my hair, lots of glitter make up, a pair of bauble earrings and little red shoes to which ive attched some huge red ribbon bows!

i absolutely love Halloween, its one of the few times where i have a legitimate excuse to dress up! i had so many ideas knocking around my head i couldnt decide (me and my mate going as Hugh Heffner and an proper old-fashioned Bunny Girl, The Avengers, Richard And Emily Gilmore...well i thought they were great ideas!)
i really love old Hammer Horror films, and i really got into Frankenstein a while ago (the book is fabulous btw) so i'm going as Elsa Lanchester's Bride Of Frankenstein. i cannot wait! i have this long, flowing white robe from when i dressed up as a statue one year and thats most of the outfit really. im going to have my arms all bound up in bandages leaving out my neck which will sport a gloriously gory scar with stitches, the lot! i've had a trial run of the make-up already and i lovelovelove it! quite proud of how alike it is to the original =] hairs a bit tricky, plenty o back-combing required!

Righttt, well this haloween i have a lot going on, I'm going trick or treating - you can never be too old ;) and i am also going to my friends halloween party. I really didn't have a clue what to wear this year because I want to look the best but i need two outfits. My first outfit is going to be made from a fancy dress outfit i have only worn once before, this is minnie mouse but because its halloween i'm going to twist it and be a possessed minnie mouse. To do this i'm going to wear the short dress with red and white spots with thigh high white stockings, red dolly shoes and of course the classic ears with a bow, but to give it the needed evil twist i am going to have all of my hair back-combed, tear my dress and stockings and have blood and guts coming out, i will also have blood as my main accessory because i feel it compulsary. My second outfit, this is where this competition would be a big help, see i don't have a second outfit and i really wouldn't enjoy going out wearing a black dress with a witches hat and cape - i mean c'mon now, how original !!. This is why i should really win this competition because it would be a bigg help and I just love the style of the dress and i want to expand my fashion because i have never worn anything like it and i have been trying to completely renew my wardrobe so that it is unique for me recently but havn't been able to get very far with it due to not having enough money and i basically just think this dress will be perfect for me and i love love LOVE itt !!

Halloween!! is my favorite time of the year to get crafty and creative. its pretty hard to choose what I like to be this year. I always make my costumes homemade. either to be a classic Jujyfruits candy box or a scary CupCake. =D i love to standout crazy, wacky but at the sametime always look cute! Iam 18 & im never to old to get candy with my friends. last year we all became smores!! and i won for the most creative costume of the year at my school!!
my idea of being a Jujyfruit candy box
- cardboard
-paint and draw by hand the picture two sides
-paint my face cute with rose red cheeks
-And sweet candy suger spray that i have to smell like candy!
And for my CupCake its going to be hard but i can do it!!
-2 yards fluffy white fabric

-White tights and shoes
-Red and yellow felt squares (for making candle and flame)

OK, this Halloween, I plan to go to my mate's party as the zombie vampire mix of Stevie Nicks and Cyndi Lauper! I'm going to push all of my hair to one side, and pin it then back comb it and stick skeleton claws in it. I am also going to dye my hair orange hopefully (it would have been white but I am allergic to ammonia), I'll paint my face completely white, have vampire fangs and of course wear bright red lipstick and heavy duty black eyeliner. I'm hand making a huuuuge black velvet cocktail dress with white and black lace ruffles and I'll wear the longest red fake nails I can find along with my fingerless black lace gloves (ala Stevie). On my feet, I'll wear my patent high heeled ankle boots, ripped tights and some very large diamante jewellry! And I'll have stitches painted everywhere!

For HALLOWEEN this year I'm dressing up as a corpse bride. I'm wearing my mums wedding dress- covered in fake blood and shredded. I'm wearing skeleton tights and black high heels. I'm wearing a load of thick eyeliner and mascara and covering my face in white make-up. I will have huge vampire fangs and a load of blood! I'll wear a black veil and to finish the look of ridiculously long fake nails and my hair messed up within an inch of it's death! x MWAH HA HA HA HAA!

This year me and my friends are dressing up as different characters from Disney. We have collected most disney films and LOVE the fairy tales!
Our costumes are our moms posh dresses , hair piled up and tiaras, of course! One of our friends is going to be the wicked witch from all the stories!
On our backs we each have a letter on ourbacks to spell out DISNEY.

I'm going out this Halloween dressed as a dead glam rocker. I'll be wearing shiny gold leggings, a torn leopard print t-shirt, a faux fur gillet and puprle platforms. My accessories will be one guiter earring and one lightening bolt earring.

I'm painting my face white with a blue star over one eye and a silver ligtening bolt over the other but a bit smudged. Then I'll have a glitter wig on which I'm taking the scissors to and hacking! I've got a blow up guitar too.

This halloween, me and my housemates are holding a cluedo murder mystery evening!!! Each room will be transformed into one of the rooms from the boardgame (we are in the process of installing a bookcase in the bathroom) and each guest will dress up as one of the characters (although more than six people are attending, so we have had to invent more, including Captain Beige and Madame Rose!!) I have been lucky enough to bag Miss Scarlett... everyone's favourite cluedo character, and will be wearing a super glam 1930's dress (red of course) with a faux fur wrap! I am hoping to get a flapperesque brown wig to accompany lashings of bright red lipstick, huuge black eyelashes and a black sequinned cigarette holder! I will also be wearing black seamed stockings teamed with red stilettos and a clutch bag........ big enough to hold my candlestick! Im hoping to recreate the look of the swinging 30's, but with an eery edge that says - I may have perfectly applied red nailvarnish, but I won't shy away from brutally murdering Colonel Mustard with the lead piping!! My cousin has always had this big back plastic cauldron where you wear
around the body and there's holes for you legs to go through, so I'd thought I'd put it to use. I'm wearing the black cauldron around my body, a grey fluffy jumper and grey tights. Along with, this kind of form of a balaclava except its hand made- its completely grey and furry (not real fur of course) with white furry bits (http://www.emperor-penguin.com/penguin-chick.jpg) <-- a picture of a real penguin, with holes for the eyes and mouth and my lips painted black. I'm wearing contact lessons that make my eyes go completely black. But then I'm not just going as a cute penguin, there is going to be blood coming out of the cauldron, blood all over the face and chunks of fur ripped out. The reason Im going as a goory penguin is because 11 of the 17 species of penguin are endanger of becoming extinct and because of global warming the melting ice and snow create huge cracks and caverns which trap penguins and make it difficult for them to travel to breeding and feeding areas. So I'm going as a gory penguin to show that if global warming carries on then the penguins will die off and become dead penguins.
But of course, if I did win I would use the dress to go to this halloween party the next day :]

Well basically I was in primark and saw an awful puffy bright orange skirt and the thought just came to me....PUMPKIN, yes i am going as a living pumpkin, so far i have a giant puffy skirt and leggings, still looking for a top in the right shade, i plan to paint my face orange also and paint a black zigzaggy mouth and such just for the right effect... eek

This year I will be going as the dead 'Miss Argentina' receptionist from Beetlejuice. Green body paint, a big home made red cape and sash with Miss Argentina printed upon it, oh, and some red hair spray to complete the look!

Showering drunk at 4am will not be a fun experience!

A dark fae, my boyfriend's dressing as Jareth from labyrinth (also a fae). Last year I was a scary cat lady... the year before a tourist, I feel this year I should try to be more dark and mysterious...

My favourite classic horror and halloween inspiration is Psycho. You can't beat the shower scene and the 60's cars and Janet Leigh's wavy wonderful hair. Therefore, this halloween, I am going as BATES MOTEL.
Either I will design a 50's circle dress with some sort of psycho print, with suspenders and blood stained gloves. Maybe a see-through rain coat to represent the shower curtain. I need to make a structure to wear. (Could be tricky due to door-frames and what-not) but I say some 'Bates' towels and coasters in a vintage shop in Brighton so we'll see!

This spooktacular Halloween will be more eerily fabulous than usual because it isn't just me dressing up, oh no - my WHOLE family (including my hamster Gus) is dressing up as none other as the frightfully fantastic MUNSTERS!! I will become the lovely Lily - dressed in a long eerie floaty white vintage style gown complete with gothtastic black ribbon, bat necklace, butt-length black wig and of course painted green skin and thick black eye makeup. My Dad will be Herman, complete with stuck on neck bolts and huuuge clunky platform shoes (he won't have to pretend to be silly hehe!), my Mum is going as Grandpa since he's her favourite and she's got a few grey hairs anyway mwahaha! My sister will be transformed into the beautiful Marilyn, she'll need TONNES of makeup! Oh and my pet hamster Gus will be going as none other than little Eddie Munster! We're going to give him pointy ears made of sculpted cheese. If we had a dog it would be going as Wolfie (Eddie's toy werewolf), sadly our dog was eaten by a zombie so he can't (boo hoo!)

I am going for more of a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the dead) look. I always hand make my costumes so this time I am making a vintage style Mexican wedding dress in black. I am going to paint my face like a sugar skull and plan to make my hair very tall to add huge flowers and small sugar skulls. I have been working on the costume for a month now so i hope it looks great!

This halloween my family are holding a halloween party so we are all dressing as members of the adams family. I am wednesday, my mother is morticia , my dad is going as gomez and my brother as pugsley. We also have a marvelous moving hand that we bought from asda last year and we are roping in a friend to be lurch. Halloween is nearly my favourite time of year ( I think christmas comes first) so I'm very excited. I love dressing up and seems to be the only time that my family will willingly dress up with me!

This year I will be wearing what I wore for the last two halloweens...an 8 year old boys all in one foam bones skeleton jumpsuit! I slashed the sleeves for a saucy off the shoulder look (and to prevent a camel toe), with cute skeleton gloves (these are a MUST for winter!). To spruce it up this year I shall be donning full face paint in the style of a cute skeleton face - similar to ol skurvy by Paul Frank. Pulling my hair up into a tight bun on top of my head with the help of my LLROK black and white bow tie hairclips and a light dusting of flour for good measure. My lashes are getting the BIG FAKE treatment along with sliver glitter eyeliner.
I've worn this outfit for the past two year because you slap some white heels on with this bad boy, and you have shabby sexy sheek like those funny bones were heading out to an all night burlesque disco night! It was a dark dark night down a dark dark street and a sexy skeleton woman was getting ready to boogie!

I plan to draw inspiration from The Wizard of Oz--not a traditional scary movie, but still a bit freaky--and don some fantastic green and black striped knee-high socks. To complete my footwear, I'll pop on my pointy, curly toe boots saved from the bargain bin. Now, for the actual clothes: for a top I'll wear my black, lacy corset and I'm going to rip an old black skirt to shreds so that my stripey socks will be seen by all! I've spruced up a traditional witch hat by add some mesh for a veil and gluing on some sparky blingtastic spiders. To completed the ensemble, I'm going to wear a necklace that looks like cobwebs (homemade naturally) and my betsey johnson spider earrings. The finishing touch will be my elbow length gloves, which I plan on adding some cobwebs to for effect.

im dressing up as marie atoinette, i found a blue corset dress with ruffles and bows and bell sleeves which im wearing with white stockings a big white wig and im looking for satin effect heels with a floral vintagey print and a buckle. my accessory will be a lacy fan and im painting my face white maybe with a cute little heart in black somewhere. in true marie style im spending halloween indulging on extravagant cakes and spending all my money :D

this halloween i'm going to be a robot!

I'll be silver from basically head to toe. I'm making an antenna out of aluminum foil and then i'll glitz up with some shiny silver makeup, fake silver eyelashes & silver glitter hair spray. for the rest of my outfit i have a silver sequined racerback tanktop that i'll wear backwards for an edgier look, a boxy mini-skirt with blocks of sequins in different shades of grayscale, sparkly silver tights, and some metallic silver flats. Now all i need to do is make my fingerless silver gloves out of the metalic duct tape i picked up & i'll be ready to dance the robot all night!

it may not be a traditionally scary outfit...but just think how terrifying it will be when robots take over the world ;)

Im going as colonel saunders( the creator of kfc) because of what horrible things he does to chickens... thats a REAL halloween story! Im going for the white scratched shirt covered in fake blood, red hair with blood through it. Red contacts in my eyes. plus my very own mutilated chicken! Dont forget the good old protesting materials - posters, leaflets and stickers for passers by. Im hoping to protest outside a local k.f.c with some friends dressed as chickens! this year i have a gorgeous vintage dress to wear so i am paying homage to angelique houtkamp a tattooist and artist, i shall have lovely pearls on and a handmade fascinator that i made which is a lovely top hat and peacock feathers in my 50's style hair with skeleton skull design features on my jaw and eyes in red for beautiful elegance and halloween celebration! cant wait! so many halloween parties so little time!

I am planning to dress up as the suicidal miss argentina receptionist from the movie BEETLeJUICE. Which involves me painting myself bright green with red hair goole it . It will be great only thing is am workin next day and may still be green. I have made my costume and am looking forward to big revealing.

This is my first year at uni, and my flatmates and I have decided a block party is in order (then onto town for drinks and dancing), and not to be outdone by anyone I need a really wicked outfit, so I have come up with this, Inspired by my sisters great love of Clowns and her vast collection of porcelain ones I have decided to go this Hallowe'en as either a Pierrot or a Harlequin clown. Whether to be a sad Pierrot or a mischievous Harlequin is a hard decision, the look of the outfits both hold their own, and to make the decision harder I've been reading up on Commedia dell'arte, . I will be making the outfit myself (as buying one sucks all the fun out of Hallowe'en) and depending on the clown, doing my own make-up or painting my own mask.
I'm going to have just as much fun making it as I am partying in it.

for Halloween, i plan to slave with my mother over a sewing machine, squeeze my breath out with a corset, and wear a cake-hat on my head as the one and only- Marie Antoinette! it will be all pink, from the shoes to the hair, and inspired by Sofia Coppola's yummy film version. i can't wait to be candy personified! not fitting through doorways, on the other hand....

This hallowe'en I am going to be a rag doll! I found an old patchwork-esque dress in a charity shop, have cut it up & added different patches of material, sown on pockets and big buttons down the front of the dress, and added loose thread so it looks like I am falling apart. I'll wear a wig made out of red wool, long stripey socks (with patches added!) and I'm going to paint myself white and go for very exaggerated doll make up - big eyes, rosebud mouth, red cheeks and paint patches on my arms.

This was inspired partly by my friend's tattoo & the fact that I like to wear ridiculous make up & sew :]

Being a literature student my Halloween costumes always have to have some sort of book reference, and this year I am planning on going as a droog from The Clockwork Orange. Alex specifically as we share the same name! The main piece of my outfit will of course be the bowler hat which I bought from a thrift store a couple of years ago. I have got false eyelashes to put on one of my eyes on the top and the bottom lid, which will enhance my eerieness. I'm planning on making my own 'maskie' with a plain white mask and then sticking on a false nose which you can get at the local fancy dress shop, then painting the top bit black and the nose red. (Had better do this soon actually to let the paint dry!)For clothing I am wearing a white dress shirt, with grey braces attached to Y-fronts with a tennis ball stuffed down (haha this is my imitation of a cod piece as I cant afford one will actually look hilarious!) Underneath the yfronts I will wear white leggings and to finish off on my feet big black boots.
Et voila' my droogie Alex costume-far more scary than ghouls and witches I think.
Now I best get polishing up on my Nadsat so I will look the genunine article...

Well i've just ordered the racy leopard print frill seeker dress, but i'm gonna scare it up this halloween with some fangs, snagged animal print tights and fake blood and big, sharp claws!! More catfight than sex kitten!! And lest we forget the backcombing... cannae forget the backcombed hair!!! Miaow!! :P

and finally indigo Platforms
with lots of colourful jewellary on my arms and pinned on for good measure :)
I am also going to have a red basket full of sweets to give out to people to make them smile.
Not very scary I know but with how scary the world is right now I think everyone needs a bit of colour and candy to brighten up their day and make them smile :)

man i'm going to regret posting this, as fellow lady-luckians have such fantasic ideas!
Strange as it seems this Halloween i'm going as our beloved, the late Charlie Chaplin. With what can only be described as a swell (see even vintage lingo to match, what a look) pair of oversized moth eaten mens shoes picked up from a carbootsale for, drum roll please. . . . 40p. BooYar! But in view of the circumstances probally a rip-off considering they are indeed on their last legs (hope someone got the joke there!!)
The rest of the costume is quite basic just a large pair of baggy black trousers (a surprisingly hard word to spell) held up with breeches with a baggy shirt, small hat and black eyeliner 'tash (can not spell to save my life)

upon noting my comment is indeed the longest i'll give a quick reason why, and a small plea of forgivness for such babble.
My friend talked me into it after i foolishly told her about the nightmares i had of him when as was a kid.

The down side of this though is that i'm a rather tall young lady and Chaplin was a rather small gent. A detail i'm choosing not to notice.

I plan on going as a shower curtain.....
Haha yup a shower curtain, with me inside in a swimming costume, shower cap and a rubber duck necklace!
My inspiration is from the film psycho, Im going to make the frame out of copper tubing, make a shower curtain out of fabric, cover it in fake blood for extra gore and shuffle my way slowly but scarefully through halloween!!

i was so excited when i got an email through about this competition!
this year, my outfit is simple but matches my friends perfectly.
she is to be an evil, yet still very gorgeous, witch and i will be her black cat.
i will wear a simple black vest top and black shorts (do you remember those tight "cycle shorts" you used to have to wear for p.e when you were young? oh dear..) and long black lace wrist warmers.
i will wear black over the knees socks and some simple black plimsoles, replacing the laces for black ribbon.
a black cat tail, ears and a half face mask from a fancy dress shop.
the mask, however i will sew black sequins onto to make it a little more exciting! :]
messy hair and black glittery eye make up will complete the look.
i simply cannot wait! x♥

this halloween, i am planning to go as a very funky up to date morticia addams! especially, as my last name is adams and i get the adams family theme tune joke, all the time!

i found a REALLY amazing floor length electric pink silk dress with amazing bat wing sleeves, and i plan to wear an amazing black and pink longggg wig with bright pink lippy, huge fake feather eyelashes and some hot pink platforms!

My idea is probably one of the most common one used,, but the story behind it is different to most others.
after seeing my passion ((supporting kill hannah)) I wanted to use the name of their song 'hot in the dolls house'' - Im going to be a victorian doll,, a dead one ((ahahahaha see told you tis common)) but - my passion are addicted to golden men. so guess what
my outfit is going to be big, bold and gold!

This Halloween I am dressing up as the perfect example of sultriness and fatality: A film noir heroine. Think Marlene Dietrich and Lauren Bacall. I will have the trademark long black cigarette holder, ofcourse. However, since old-time Film Noir was filmed in black and white, I am going to go completely in black-and-white, i.e white body paint on my arms and face, a glossy black wig and fitted black satin dress and white tights with killer (black) heels. I mustn't forget the black lipstick and shiny fake fur stole to complete my look! With my monochromatic ensemble I'll look like a beacon of 1940s film in the sea of glorious technicolour that is Halloween. Mr De Mille, I do believe I am ready for my close up....

This halloween I am going to the 6th form social and i am going to dress up as a punk fairy. I am planning to wear a tartan skirt which is red and black, I have also added some netting to the bottom of it. I am going to wear a plain black top which i have sew buttons and a patchwork design on the front. I have some fairy wings which i have printed punk onto them. I am going to wear long stripey socks. I am going to wear red heels. I am going to wear lots of eyeliner and red eye shadow and pale face. My hair is going to be a big backcombed mess.

This old hallows eve i plan to dress up as Miss Spider from James and the Giant peach, i already have the slick black bob hairstyle so im adding a china-doll white face, blood red lips, fancy flicked out eye-liner, cutesy black beret, I have made my two extra sets of legs by stuffing 2 pairs of black tights with crepe paper and i will attach them to the waist of my hand made black and white vertically striped satin dress, i'm gonna put sexy black fishnets on my arms and (real) legs and finish with a pair of killer red stilletoes and a black faux-fur stole!! Im planning on going into work dressed up ( I work in a boutique store) and covering my area of the shopfloor in faux cobwebs. I CAN'T WAIT! I LURVE HALLOWEEN! Now i just need to practice my sauciest french accent.... merci et bon nuit LLROK!

I'm going to slick my hair back and wear a tuxedo. He is going to daringly wear an old second hand wedding dress :) We are then going to make ourselves over to be the most deadly, terrifying zombie, vampire newlyweds on the block. :)

I'm a teacher, so I'm always scaring boys and girls. Surprise exams are my favourite trick. So, this halloween (and only for one night) i'm going to be a good girl. I'm going to wear a fluffy pink dress from my sister, a white apron, long shocks and a pink curly wig. And the best of all, a big basket full of sweets (be careful, maybe they are poisoned)

This halloween i'm going for the bad ass minnie mouse look.
I got the cutest skirt from H&M, which is perfect, and i'm pairing it up with the sparkly shoes, frilled top and, of course, the minnie ears.

To add the bad ass aspect, i am planning on putting studs in the ears, slashing my skirt so that the netting comes through and cutting it so that it is a dangerously mini skirt, laddering my tights, throwing on a leather jacket, and styling my hair so it is almost mohawk-ish, adding a studded belt around the skirt and changing the shoes so that they have embroidered skulls on them, and maybe a bit of a precarious heel!

Also, I am going to add a wee cheeky tattoo of mickey mouse (not a real tat) saying something like "Mick+Min" with a heart with an arrow through it :D, or maybe a more kick ass design than that.

I'm trying to convince my two besto's, to come as Daisy Duck and Donald Duck too.. and my boyfriend just needs some saweeeeet convincing to go for the bad ass mickey look!

I love halloween and this year i came up with this bizarre idea to go as frankenstein's wife... im having matted white hair (a wig) and im going to backcomb the wig to make it even more wild. I fished around in my Dad's garage and picked out 2 bolts to somehow attach to my neck. I went down to my charity shop, friends house and grandma's house and eventually i came across something that would be ideal for frankensteins bride. It is a red satin dress, a little moth eaten and it has a few holes in it due to age but that just adds to the effect. It has a corset, really really tight on the top and it flares out into a really big skirt. Its quite big for me and falls down sometimes but it is good enough. My brother used to own some really big clumpy army boots when he was a teenager so i asked him what he had done with them. he gave them to me and they look amazing with the dress. The final pieces of my costume is fake scars with stitches down them which i managed to get from a joke shop for a pound and i also found some disused wires to somehow hide in my wild mass of hair! i hope people are scared by my outfit.. my puppy certainly was when i tried it on :)

This halloween, I am going to wear the same outfit I've worn for the last 4 years, pointy hat, black dress (thats if it still fits of course) and some old dodgy laddered tights. Oh and not forgetting, a trip to the make-up artist, (my very younger sister) ..thumbs up. And what for? a trip up and down the street trick or treating. . . . . . . fun.

I'm halfway through making my whole costume myself. My dress is gona be made out of a black plastic bin liner;everyone says it looks like leather!

Its a semi-backless halterneck with a clinched in waist. its taken ages to get it right but im loving it. Im also planning on wearing my goth doll necklace that my mum bought for me from Lady luck :) All my make up is guna be black, purples and Pinks. I cant wait. Parties here I come.

this year i'm going to a halloween party as hannibal lecter. It's going to be makeshift though, no buying costumes for me! I've made the mask from half of a plant pot with holes in, then i'm going to have a white jumper around me, backwards with luggage case straps, as a straight jacket. To finish it of i'm gonna wear an orange boiled suit on underneath adn a badge with the cell number on. It should be really funny especially when i break free or try to do the time warp in the straight jacket. LOL

This year i plan to go as a dumb blonde from a horror movie, a blond long wig, short skirt and knee high socks, then a slit throat to top it all off! After watching Paris Hilton in House of wax i couldn't resist, never mind all those teen horror movies were they always do something stupid like enter the dark room!
I'm going to go with a torch that doesnt work or flickers and repeatedly said dumb sentences "ohhhh lets split up" " i dont think its dead lets get closer" " i think its gone" " we're nearly there" the gorgeous ones are always the first to go!!!

This Halloween i plan 2 wear a dress I made from black material which depicts silver witches on broomsticks, cats, moons and stars. I also have black leggings with cobwebs on. I have big black fluffy boots to keep my feet warm on this cold and creepy night. + lots of halloween accessories i have collected and made over the years :)

For this Halloween im having a massive party with all my mates and family there it going to be awsome. I have been trying to think of ideas for months everyone else has got theres and im trying to think of ideas that will beat there's so far me and my cousin have thought of a shark with legs and blood coming out its mouth yes were weird!!!! :>. we had loads of other ideas (yes just as weird as that!!) but i think im just going to go a gory and horrifiying as possible.

This Halloween i'm planning to go as a dragon. (:
I'm going to wear a purple sequined boob tube (it's too cool) and a purple and pink polka dot skirt. Then i'm going to wear bright pink tights and sparkly silver shoes. I'm going to make a tail out of an old pair of purple tights and when i'm raving i'll tuck my tail into my belt. Haha. I'm going to wear a black pair of wings and i'm going to wear some Dracula fangs. I'm going to go mental with the make up as well. Hopefully, i'll win the fancy dress competition at the rave i'm going to... who knows? If i win that i think the prize is a flourescent bra. Snazzy!

I intend to dress up as the empty child from Dr. Who (season one). It is a little boy from worn torn ,1940's (?) , London, he has a gas mask on his face which is fused to his face. He calls out for his mummy. He was taken to hospital and showed no signs of life, everyone he touches turns into what he is.

I chose to dress up as this because it scares the crap out of me! and anyone who watches the episode. And in true halloween spirit i intend to scare.

This year I plan to scare everyone into insanity. Yipppeee. So, to be honest the scariest person I have ever encountered has to be Jodie Marsh. So this year I'm going as Jodie Marshman...a sort of mix between good ol' Jodie and that guy that 10000000 year old Druid guy that was found in the boggy marshes, because lets face it he's pretty scary aswell. I've got lots of PINK patent leather with delightfully trashy faux fur trimming (not real because that would be far too scary and it would find it upsetting) and THE coolest makeup from the states which is SO WEIRD and changes colour with your 'mood'. It's going to be totally revolting. Ahhhhhh!

For halloween i'm planning on wearing a short black dress with fluorescent green witches hats on. Then i plan to wear diffrent coloured socks one red another florecent yellow. on my feet i will wear one small pump shoe and another big boot. i will blow dry my hair up side down and blitz it with hair spray. Leaving it wild and crazy. i've got a small hat wich i have cut to make it into a smaller one on a hairband with a fluorescent rim and black lace netting under it. i will also be wearing huge earings and a gothic lady luck inspired necklace. To finish off my look i will be wearing bright red lipstick and red false eyelashes long black gloves and spiders tatooed on my body!!!

This look will really represent me Crazy, Strange and Really Outstanding!!

I think I'll facade as Bertha Rochester a la Jane Eyre. There's something about a madwoman locked away in the 3rd floor of and old mansion who creeps out at night to tear her bigamist husband's bride-to-be's veil apart, then snuffs out a candle under said bride-to-be's nose and creeps back up to bed that has me checking the wardrobe for jealous women tearing up my party frocks! To wear would be a Victorian-esque nightgown complete with bare feet, cat-lady hair and a face that says 'yes, I've been screaming bloody murder and commiting arson all night- AND I DO IT AGAIN!'

Not forgetting a candle of course . . .

I know it's not original or unique but it's a kind of ritual I have been sharing with my family since I was 8, when the naughty Emilie D. said I was looking like her. I have two ideas and they are both completely different!

My first idea is to dress up as Miss Trunchbull from the famous Roald Dahl book "Matilda". I will wear an old brown cordoury dress courtesy of my gran and use some padding to give me some extra evil weight! I will use an old brown buckle belt around my waist and a wear cream knee high socks with old brown buckle shoes. I will then scrape my hair back into a neat bun and carry a cane! all is missing now is a few drawn on wrinkles and an evil scowl!

My second idea is to dress up as the majority of teenage girl's worse nightmares...the mean popular snobby girl (based on Regina George from "mean girls")! I will wear a a very short pink mini skirt with pink patent stilettos. i will also wear a push-up bra and white motif top saying "queen bee". I will then put in long blonde extensions and get a very orange fake tan. To complete my outfit i will wear a plastic prom queen crown and carry around a home-made burn book!

Well this halloween it is also my birthday so I am having a spooky party :D
I am planning to dress up a police woman.
But not just any old police woman - a fashion police woman.
I'll be sporting a high wasted black skirt (which i usually wear for school), a white shirt, black and white checked tie, a police badge "FASHION POLICE" and of course a police helmet. Round my waist there'll be a utility belt overflowing with make up, face paint, hair spray etc
so not only will i have a wicked costume - i'll be able to make other people's costumes even better by lending them my stash.
and of course i'll have "Fashion violation" cards in hand and handcuffs in case someone's just drawn kitty features on their face and think that is an adequate costume!!
I can't wait!

This Halloween is going GEEKY!

I shall be raiding shops for lots of old red leggings and going as the wonderful Taki from Soul calibre - this means skin-tight red lycra (well at least it will be scary for the other people out) and some kind of amazingly shoulder-padded jacket, complete with tin-foil sword of course.

Unfortunately though, I'll be working on halloween so it will have to be the night before (and hopefully I won't be the only person dressed up.... that would be even scarier....)

Me and my two best friends have decided to go as a ghostly family! my best friends will be wearing a double sheet, carefully decorated to be separated as mother and father ghosts. i will play the role of baby ghost, with both eyes and another hole for a dummy cut into the sheet! This halloween I will be dressing as a hotdog. I plan to make the entire outfit from cardboard and make holes to fit my arms and head through. My inspiration is the hotdog that can do backflips when danny is singing at the drive-in movies in grease. If only I was agile enough to do backflips.......xxx Happy halloween everyone! xxx

This year me and my friends got our Halloween fancy dress inspiration from the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (we are obsessed with this book). We are planning to go trick or treating as a group so we're all going for the same sort of theme. I am goin to paint my face to make it look really pale and then put black eyeliner and mascara to make my eyes stand out. I am planning to get some contact lenses to change my eye colour to honey (the colour the vampires eyes are in the book when they aren't thirsty). As for what I'm wearing, well, I plan to wear a black dress with a red belt and my LLROK black skull ring. I will dye my hair a deep brown and I will style it into big, wavy curls.

Another idea (if i can't find a nice black dress) is to go as a neon witch. I would wear orange, green and purple tut-like skirts with a black halloween print skirt over the top that my mum made for me two years ago. I would wear a black sleeveless top with and orage woolen scarf wrapped around my shoulders. For my make up, i have got the COOLEST neon orange, pink and purple eye shadows that i will blend into one another on my eyelids. I will also buy bright green fake lashes with crystals on them. For my hair i will get some orange and purple hair dye or extension and i will curl my hair.

I am really excited about Halloween this year and I am hoping that I win this dress because it is one of the coolest items of clothing i have ever seen and i fell in love with it when i first saw it!! :D

this halloween i'm wearing my school uniform, BUT im being a zombie so my face will be grey and old and my mouth will be flowing with fake blood, my hair tangled and dry and my hands covered in fake blood.

after seeing the incredible new batman film i thought i should go as the messed up joker, i found a purple suit in a charity shop for £9.99! BARGAIN! i also found some purple leather gloves off a website and a green waistcoat for virtually nothing.
my dad had a perfect tie from a while back which green with purple swirls. to be honest i cant believe he ever wore that but at least its handy now!
Lastly i went to a party shop and bought a LOT of white face paint (just incase i needed to top it up later!) i was goin to get a purple shirt from there but it was a little too pricey so i went to good old primark.
i loved the batman film and thought i should go a bit adventurous this year so i hope you like my idea!

I have already posted a bulletin for what I am going to wear but I have just been inspired by the new Katy Perry Video for Hot n Cold, Ohhh yes I am talking sexy ZOMBIE BRIDE!I Am going to TKMaxx [I love that shop] and buying an old weddingt dress then [heres the fuin part] totally ripping it to shreds and turning it into a mini (H), also I will add a few bits of lace here and there to make it look more authentice and use the old, soak in a tub with teabags to make it look aged trick [Wow thats a long trick]. Then I am going to wear white lace tights, then totally ruin them and wipe dirt all over them :P. I am buying some white kitten heeled shoes from TKMaxx.
My hair is going to be crimped then backcombed so I have like a mini afro (H) The I am sticking lots of Little white butterflies and netting in my hair to make me loook the shizzz.I will probably wear a little white lace shrug or something too to keep me warm.

This halloween i have decided to dress up as a china doll. I'm sure you have probably heard this story whilst your sitting around with your mates telling scary stories, but just in case you haven't i shall give you it briefly.

There is a little girl and she buys a gorgeous china doll from the toy store, so she takes it home. her dad says she is not allowed to take it to bed with her so she leaves it on her sofa. in the middle of the night she hears a voice ' i'm on the first step, i'm on the second step' so she calls her dad and he sees the dolls and thinks that it's strange so he goes and puts it on the sofa again. later that night she hears it again 'i'm on the first step, i'm on the second step, i'm on the third step, i'm on the fourth step,' so she calls her dad again and he puts it outside in the trash can. but once again she hears ' i'm on the first step..........i'm on the last step, i'm in the hallway, i'm in your bedroom, i'm right next to you.' The next morning when the dad goes to check on the girl he finds her with a knife in her side. so they decide to have a clear out. When the police are round checking, a policeman takes a shine to the doll he thinks 'my daughter will like that' .....

so that's why i decided to dress up as a china doll. i have decided to put a twist on it though. i'm going to wear a short blue dress with long white stockings with red bows at the top then wear a little apron over the dress, with gorgeous lace-up Mary-Janes. for my make-up i will wear tons of really pale foundation, bright red lipstick and really OTT pink blusher with blue eyeshadow. for my hair i'll curl it and then backcomb so it looks messy and tie it half up half down with a huge blue and white bow.

This halloween i am going to dress up as Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands. I don't see the point in doing a glamorous witch/cat/devil it just ruins the idea of halloween. So i'm going to look as weird as possible. I've got grey trousers and a white shirt with braces. My mums an artist so its her job to paint my face with the scars and everything so i hardly resemble myself anymore and look pale and puckered like the fantastic Johnny Depp does in the film. Then its a backcombing job on the hair, so its going to take a lot of conditioning to get those knots out. I've got dog collars and stuff to make it look like his robotic clothes underneath the shirt and i have made my own scissor hands...i got a pair of black gloves and then cut out the shape of knives and scissors, painted the plastic bit black and covered the 'blade' with tinfoil, the i sewed them onto the gloves. They look great. I love dressing up and i do it in an extreme way so i can't wait for this halloween party. :]] plus it's one of my favourite films of all time. I think i'm still a child at heart.

I'm going to be seeing the Mighty Boosh on halloween day dressed as the infamous CRACK FOXXXX! so I would pair this wonderful dress with copious amounts of fake fur, dirty rags, fox contact lenses, prosthetic nose, finger seringes, lots and lots of fake blood, a biro, some "squishy boots", maybe some bin liner, fake teeth, toxic farting and an evil song and dance. Oh and some tattered fake fur ears of course!

(Also my drawing project is on B-movies so I think this would look FABULOUS when im presenting my crit hahaha!)

I'm planning to go out as a dead devil dolly, complete with fake blood and devil horns. This coupled with a tartan dress , over the knee rainbow socks with dolly style makeup with blood covering one side of my face and hands will complete the look... Oh not forgetting the cape & Curly hair with white powder in :) Inspired by freaky dollys whose eyes follow you round... :p

Well this year I am carrying on the tradition of going to Edinburgh for Halloween and spending Halloween night creeping around graveyards and the underground vaults in the hope of scaring myself [and the group with me] half to death. Seeing as last year I went as a beauty queen rose from the dead - with a decaying face and mangled hair, this year I shall continue the morbid theme to go as Burke and Hare’s [the infamous body snatchers] assistant. Complete with nurses dress and blood splattered apron! I’ll back comb my hair in a Russell Brand style and mix up a pale grey foundation for zombie-esque skin tone. I’ll put on some 5 Inch heels and wide net fishnets and I'm good to go. Edinburgh won’t know what's hit em!

this halloween im going to dress up as an undead fairy queen, i have two tutu's made of net ant 3 sets of wings and a want, i shall put on the most gory make up an fake blood on my arms like some1 has slashed my arms and legs, i came up with this idea from my best friend who wanted to go as the grim reeper and i said i would be her victim, then i bought my tutu's and wanted to some how interprite them into halloween. i was watching thumbellina with my little sister and thats were i got the fairy idea from, so i asked my friend, sarah, and she just laughed her head off! so the undead fairy queen is going to be looking fabulously gashed @ halloween this year, hope i win. My mate always has a sooper halloween party every year and this year i'm going to scare everyone as Carrie White - prom dress, flowers and tiara...and then a bucket of pig's blood. last halloween i went for the classic white sheet over head with eyeholes and it didnt go down very well with my friends as they were all dressed as vampire bunnys which left me the odd one out:( but this year its my friends halloween party and we all have to come as music artists and i would like to be the best dressed there and do something inspired by one of my fave musical artists in the wholeee world, WINEHOUSE but with a twist!! ill deffo have the whole beehive thing going on and birds in my hair and super high platforms, but ill also be a vamp with lotsa blood and gore( on my face not the dress. hopefully!!) but as she wears all of those lush kitsch mini dresses on stage, im hoping that this reko dress will make it all come together and ill be the best winehouse ever and make her proud :)

I will be wearing a pink ballet tutu slightly ripped with a black net
material over it and black tights then over the top of them some stripy

irregular choice shoes which are black and pink stripy with

This year for halloween i am going to go as the fantastically terrifying leading lady of all rice krispy nightmares THE CEREAL KILLER !!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH
I will be wearing a very large oversized black t-shirt so i can lurk in the shadows, on this t-shirt will be the remnants of my prey. Splattered across my T will be a gruesome mixture of cereal and BLOOD (red poster paint from the early learning centre) This terrifying mix will also coat the razor sharp edges of my weapon of choice, the misleading spooon of terror! through my hair will also be spread the remnants of my victims !
So you better watch out for me cause i'm coming !

This halloweeen i'm going as bad ass minnie mouse.

I am teaming up a leather jacket with a frilly top, an amazingly perfect skirt from h&m with some laddered tartan tights, gelled styled hair with some minnie mouse ears with studs and earrings in, some heaby eye make-up, and i'm thinking of adding chains to my skirt, and i'm also wearing a studded belt :D

and my shoes are going to have a little makeover of their own, involving studds, killer heels, and a load of sequins :D

and my boyfriend has finally given in, and is going as bad ass mickey :L

this halloween im off to my friend emmas house for a scary movie film fest, loads of my mates are going. were of 'happy halloweening' first though. cos you cant have halloween without it!. im going dressed as good old frankenstien. my friend shelbey is lending me the best frankenstien mask i have EVER seen. it covers my whole head. and i have a scragy old brown suit jacket coat ive made look really old to put on. and ripped jeans. and big boots. its a crazy outfit. you cant tell who i am! LOL!

this all hallow's eve i will be walkin the town of london with ten others, all dressed in horrific wear! I am taking on the personna of Mrs. Lovett, being inspired by Tim Burtons rendition played by the bloody amazing Helens bonham carter!

My costume includes a corset from primark which i edited and customised using red lace and a sewing machine, a floaty cream shirt, a purple gypsy skirt from oxfam which i then bustled again using my sewing skills. Then there's the wacky hair and garish make up to perfect. To top it off im forcing one of my mates to be sweeney todd, im making his costume. The others are coming as pixies, naughty schoolgirls and demons...... and its my 16th birthday tomorrow!!!! xxx wooooooo

and undoubtably many witches and pumpkins, but not me this year !

Lady Luck I have fallen in LOVE with reko's wonderfully spooky frock! I wouldn't just wear it for halloween, but all year round!!
it would of course be part of my costume! I'd wear it with gorgeously vampy hair and makeup, not forgetting black nails, and blood red lips. I'd then pop in my fangs and backcomb my hair for that living-dead look! Ok beauty sorted, now for the accessories: towering black leather heels, ripped fishnets, lacy fingerless gloves, and a handful of kooky necklaces. Then I'd roll up to that halloween party with my date for the evening (count dracula of course) and knock em' dead with my new super cool look!

This year i was thinking as going to the school dance as a devil. However when i was talking to my friends about it they said that loads of people were going as one so i decided to think of some thing else. I brainstormed for about 3 hours and came up with the perfect idea. BATVIL. You've probably never heard of it, i made it up (i think), Its a cross between a bat and a devil. So ill be wearing devil horns, tail and bow tie. With a batman suit and home made wings, made from willow and bin bags.

For this halloween me and all my mates are learning the thriller dance! You know, Michael Jackson.
I've converted a room in my house into a haunted room with everything you can think of to make it extra spooooky. Its gonna be real dark and spooky! :)
We're all gonna dress up as zombies and cake on as much make up and fake blood as we can to make us look dead! And one of us will be Michael Jackson of course!
And perform the dance which will be ace!
I got the idea from watching Big Bother, when they did the dance and it looked so good and so much fun!

Helloooooo :] the dress is so awesome! This halloween me and my best friend are going to the local scream pub dressed as french maids that have been murdered brutally! I decided against the cliche Alice in wonderland and thought id drag out someone a little less unheard of!

Then i have a HUGEE green hat with the fraction on it! I have to stick to the character a bit! And then im going to massively backcomb my bright red hair and go for insanely over the top glittery green eye make up, with black liner flicks.

That has got to be one of the most adorable dresses I've ever seen! I live in the US, and this halloween I'm dressing up the entire day (even going to school) as Sarah Palin (not necessarily mocking her....but impersonating in an endearing way). Complete with a United States flag pin, elephant pin, and a "I really can see Russia from my house!" badge. It took me over an hour to figure out how she does her hair, haha. I've even memorized a speech from her point of view to give in my history class!

This year I am going as the fantastic, Madeline Ashton played by Meryl Streep in the Robert Zemeckis film, 'Death becomes her'
Not only is she beautiful she is so damn scary crazy, kind of psychotic kinda way.

heya!! last year for halloween i made me and my four friends some fabby fairy tutus, which we then accesorised to look absolutely groovy, and this year i was a bit stuck for inspiration and, after much deliberation (bunny...dead thing...witch..), i trecked back to my old favourite, john lewis haberdashery for some ideas. After much wandering and waaay to long spent looking at buttons (slight addiction :P) i saw a bright orange high waisted puffball dress, PUMPKIN! i thought on the spot. I bought the netting there and then and took it home to start sewing.I also bought some green felt and pretty green ribbon, for a leafy sash and have decided to attempt to make a little orange hat, having made a little turnip shaped hat for my art exam last year and absolutely loving it. i think i would make the actual shape out of wire and cover it in fabric, and sit it quite far forward on my head so it would be a little pumpkin fascinator, i would use a pretty, fat green ribbon to tie it to my head, and hide some of my hair, as who ever heard of a blonde pumpkin :p. I would also put in a little green stalk, because whats a pumpkin without a stalk :D:D i think i would wear green tights, with little orange pumps, to keep in with the colour scheme :P. I dont wanna go for the tango-ed look so would probably keep orange makeup to a minimum, perhaps just cute little circles on my cheeks, with green eyeshadow, like a little pumpkin themed russian doll :P. i would also put my carving skills to the ultimate test to create a real life pumpkin lantern, which i would make a wire handle for and use instead of a bag. Hopefully i will look groovy and steal the show at my neighbourhood halloween party:)

This year I'm going as Hellboy! He's not cute or glam but I just love him. Since I'm a girl of 5ft it's going to be tough but I've already dyed a big trench coat that I found in oxfam and have more red face paint than you could ever imagine. I've even made a big scary arm from papier mache! I can't wait! I'm also going old school to work on Halloween, dressed as a mummy, the girl in the pharmacy didn't know what to say to someone buying 20 rolls of bandages : )

For this halloween, i plan to take my inspirations from Dita (legend) Von Teese, The Bride Of Frankenstien and an awesomely dark disney movie, The little mermaid! Ha, Sounds magical. Mainly based on the charactor of ursula, Which is the cunning half octopus, half woman, i have therefore decided to sport a sexy silk black corset like, bust showing, hugging cocktail dress with personal alteration to add the sequinned legs, that drag along the floor. I will mimic her pendant with a giant shell. Dita makeup and possible burlesque boa... undecided. Plus i want my hair like the bride of Frankenstien.. ridiculously combed back.. which works well with my hair because its coloured like Cruella Devil anyway. And of course, the full works on black makeup and the highest black heels i can find! Happy Halloween Lady Luck XX

This halloween i plan to go as a ZOMBIE BANANA. I have the schniz of all banana suits and some excellent face painting tools and some zombie teeth. Exciting stuff. I'm going out on wednesday as the 118 guys with a few of my mates , moustaches at the ready!

I will dress up as ripunzel from the dead but not just will I buy a cheap wig from Wilkinsons, I will make by own wig with a yellow and white stripe T-shirt and painted string. My dress will be a ripped tunic made into a killer T-shirt, then I will add some fake blood and fluff. Ripunzel will be a bit more than a fairy tale, she will have vampire teeth, werewolf skin and fairy wings. With bright red lipstick and blue eyeshadow to make a black eye she will be reformed. RIPUNZELWAREWOLFFAIRYCOOLGIRLREFORMED yes the whole word!

This year is by far going to be the best halloween.

Im invited to my boyfriend's sister's party shes throwing; her parties are renowned for the over the top costume and general awesomeness, so I plan to dress up to the best of my ability!!
Im going to be a girl version of... THE JOKER
i know the world will probably intend to dress as the joker this halloween, but i hope to out-do them! :) I will wear purple tights, a purple skirt and jacket with a shirt underneath (with a hand-drawn diamond pattern on), a brownish, purple tie with green slanted rectangles, a green waistcoat and some old fashioned brown shoes with high heels!
As you can see ive planned every detail!

Of course i will have the classic joker face too! But my boyfriend made it clear he will spend as long as it takes to make it perfect! AND.. to top it all off, hes dressing as batman (which is very shocking as he is a marvel man himself and generally against DC comics!) - so people will be quite shocked when they see batman and the joker kissing and being generally friendly with each other!! :D

IM SO EXCITED for this halloween, and it would top it of to have that beautiful Reko one of a kind halloween print dress!

Everyone i know dresses as a pirate or a maid on Halloween, Same old. But not me!! For this halloween i am going to make a debut to the only film that has ever managed to scare the pants off me!!!! That is the EXORCIST OMG!! I would get some CHIC Granny style nightie...make some SLASH MARKS in the nightie too! I'd then BACK COMB my hair more than it is now, draw gross SCRATCH MARKS on my face and put GREEN SLIME on me! How cool is that! I'd practice the FREAKY EYE THING she does too and add this great Black smokey eye makeup! NO SHOES! The devil doesn't wear shoes! I'd scare myself and others...MWAHAHAHAHAHAA!! LOVE U LLROK xx

I'm split between to ideas for Halloween this year;

I'll either dress as zombie Wino,with complete beehive action,scary over-dose of eyeliner,garish red lipstick and as many rub-on tattoos as I can afford and the tightest clothes in me and my mothers collective wardrobes or an un-dead freak child with a long white wig and pale powder with lashes and lashes of fake blood,red lipstick and eyeliner,worn with a beige robe-type dress and suede brown pumps.

Of course, both ideas would be immediately deleted if I won the dress :)

this year im going as batwoman, as ages ago i bought a batman tshirt and ive never really had a chance to wear it.
So im wearing my batman tshirt, im making a yellow skirt, i got a sparkly bat mask :), i also have some really cute bat earrings, and i bought some rather snazzy (but cheapy) bat necklaces from asda.
I would wear a cape but im going guising all night, and Scottish weather doesnt agree with capes! (but if its too cold the hannah montana 3D film is on the disney channel :D)

thinking of johnny depp, i have taken my inspiration from sweeny todd and mixed it with sleepy hollow. think black lace, ruffles, gloves, victorian lace up boots, chiffon, petticoats and layers and layers of ripped/torn fabrics. and a big old slit across my throat, dark dark eyes and skin almost grey

but then i went off this idea, because i saw the new agent provocateur ads. daisy lowes red lips and leather wips, broken fishnets and cranberry nails, lace gloves and powerful shoes. a black dress made of velvet and lace, an abundance of chains and rosary beads, and a magpie sitting on my shoulder next to my overly backcombed firey red hair, and a little bit of blood coming out of my mouth, with a cheeky smile.

This year for halloween i have decided to e
incorporate my 3 most favourite things in the world, 1, the 1950's time era, 2, Bettie Page! and 3, ZOMBIES!
Being a huge follower of the 1950's cult I decided i wanted to be a famous icon from this time period. Now at first i thought about being Marilyn but that's a little boring, although she is brilliant, I thought i would choose someone a little more eccentric & different......only one girl sprang to mind...the wonderful Miss Bettie Page!
I loved her quirky, naughty, seductive style.....who couldn't love her!? She just oozes sex appeal!
Now i decided just dressing as her would be great but i wanted to add a little twist! what to do..........................then, i suddenly got the idea to incorporate my next love...zombie horror movies! I absolutely love zombies & have pretty much all the old b flick tacky movies at home so I decided why not be a Tattooed Zombie Betty Page!
I didn't even need to try too hard to put together my outfit as being a 50's lover I already had plenty of vintage/eccentric underwear in my closet as well as the wide stocking tops & killer...and i do mean killer......6 inch heels!
I'm going to wear a cutesy little strapless black bullet bra..accompanied with my little 50's black suspender skirt & black frilly silk panties....of course not missing out my sheer black seamed cuban heel stockings with a nice thick black stocking top...meeow! The 6 inch heels look abolutely hot with these! Already having black hair & betty bangs i don't need to worry about getting a wig so it's all good!
Finally the fun bit..zombie make up! I'll be popping down my local fancy dress shop to stock up on fake wounds and spray on skin...which i'll be picking and caking in fake blood for extra effects;p....i'll be going with a nice dead grey base for my zombie look with extra darkness around the eyes....then to top it all off.....mounds of fake blood!

This year i'm doing things with a twist!
Whatever to choose for my inspiration though??
Well this year I have decided I'm going to go all out & be a vampire Playboy Bunny!
Nevermind all that peroxide blonde hair, fake tans & big plastic boobs!
I'm gonna be the opposite.....milky white skin, dark long hair & plenty of tattoos! nothing worse than a life size barbie!
I got my inspiration funnily enough from watching hugh hefners house on cribs last night & i was thinking to myself how horrid a lot of the girls are & how unattractive they are with the falseness & then the idea popped into my head to dress like one for halloween...but with a twist!

Being a gal with dark hair, tattoos & pale skin made me realise i couldn't be a playboy bunny so i decided to give it a little alteration & be a vampire one instead!

I'm going to get the little all in one black silk strapless body with the little white pom pom on the tail,,bow tie, ears, collar & cuffs...of course complete with some fishnets & huge patent stilettos!
Now having dark hair already is good as i don't need to mess around dying it to complete the vampire look......i just need some HUGE false lashes, masses of fake blood & some decent..not cheap crappy quality vampire fangs!

I also already have the super pale skin so no need for base make up! I didn't want to look too silly either as i was going for the sexy look.
Just pop in the fangs splat a little blood around the face and neck & away i go!

That will surely beat any plastic playboy bimbo!

This year i decided i was going to get my inspiration from horror movies which i like....one main film sprung to mind, this being CHILDSPLAY! however being female i didn't really want to dress up as chucky.....so who better than his psycho girlfriend Tiffany, the Bride of Chucky!
I absolutely love her!
I'm going to get a platinum blonde wig, an old charity shop wedding dress, leather biker jacket, fishnets & some boots & i'm going to recreate a human Tiffany!
I bet you won't see many people doing this!
I'll be doing the whole scary make up, big black lips, massive dark smokey black eyes & evil green colour of course...big black penciled on brows & of course the little black mole! Evil!
To finish it off & give it the doll effect I will apply a clear face pack over my face once make up is complete to give it the sheeny doll style effects.

This is sure to terrify anyone! And it's a classic movie....anyone would recognise!

I have been racking my brains this year for a costume design because i wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary.
I really love the 50s and pin up girls but i dress 50s most the time anyway so i wanted to be a little different yet incorporate what i like best.
I didn't want to dress as any of the hollywood glamour goddesses as it's a bit common.......i was thinking for ages about who i could be & my ideas started to turn towards cartoon movies.....but who could the ultimate pin up be from cartoons? I did think of betty boop....but then an even better icon sprang into my head JESSICA RABBIT! va va voom!
She is an icon! Everyone knows who she is, yet she isn't real!
She's an ultimate pin up & every mans secret crush...with her long legs, ridiculously tiny waist, huge boobs and long red hair....but sadly she isn't real so she's a fantasy figure!
I decided to dress up as jessica this year and bring her to life!
Being a bit of a dab hand on the sewing machine i have made my own dress, i bought some beautiful hot lipstick red sequined fabric and turned it into a long beautiful boob tube gown....of course with the killer slit..all the way up to the thighs! I found some cheap blue ballgown gloves onebay which i already have so that's the outfit sorted!
This couldn't be complete without the killer patent red stilettos which i will be getting my hands on!
Next the hair,,,,i need a beautiful glossy long red wig & finally to top it all off some huge lashes & blood red lippy!
Sorted! One cartoon pin up done and dusted!

This halloween I´ll be channeling Sleepy Hollow´s Headless Horseman aka the Hessian. All night´ll be riding my black horse down the Ringstraße (I live in Vienna, with its sights, this will provide the right background for my performance.), wielding my axe with one hand and holding my head under my other arm, frightening all tourists, that come along.

Since I was born in the Black Forest, my own persona of a Svabian witch will blend perfectly with the Hessians ferocity.

This year i'm going to go as Penelope Pitstop from the Wacky Races cartoon show i watched as a kid.
I loved this cartoon when i was little & Penelope was always my favourite! So cute & pretty!
I thought i'd do something a little different than my usual dress ups as it gets a bit boring going out as a nurse,witch etc so i based my theme on kids cartoons this time.
It was the first cartoon that came in my head as i watched it religiously when i was smaller & penelope was the first i thought of...and the only female in it anyway!
Now i thought it was going to be a little tricky getting hold of an outfit but it was easier than i imagined!
I've just bought a bubblegum pink belted coat from good old ebay & i bought a cheap pair of fuschia pink leggings....i already had some white 60s boots from previous fancy dress so that was my outfit sorted! My boyfriend has an old vespa scooter helmet which i'll be spray painting pink, then all i need are the white gloves!
Sadly i couldn't get the car though!

This halloween I shall haunt my village as a ghostly Mexican with maraccas. Just because I can :) . Happy spooking xxx

This halloween im going dressed up as magenta from the Rocky Horror Show! i have big curly red hair so will definitely fit the part and i cant wait to wear the sexy french maid costume and getting everyone in the room to do the time warp!!! woooooo!!!!! xxxxx

Hello LLROK!

I know I have already entered, but I have decided to go as something even weirder than a vampire bond girl as my friend has stolen my idea! Grry grr! Of course we could not wear the same outfit - as that is a criminal fashion offence!

I have decided to go as a strange postman, inspired from a postman I saw in Kentish Town! You see, one day I saw a postman delivering some post to the towns people of Kentish Town and I swear I saw him put a banana through the door! Strange I thought. I told my friend and we both agreed this was very weird, so I have decided to dress as him for halloween! Think Midwich Cuckoo's (Children of the damned) innocent style postman but I will be far from your normal, average postman! I will wear a black blazer, a black miniskirt, white socks and little schoolgirl shoes with a postbag. I will have my hair down and a little cap on and spiderwebs painted on my pale face. I will have wear a very solemn look and I will hand out little black envelopes to my friends with little notes in as we are going to do a halloween treasure hunt!

I hope this doesn't count as two answers, but I was wondering if I should re-enter my new idea!

well this year for halloween im thinking of going as damian as he freaks the hell out of me and im on a budget!! so its gonna be braces, cap and hollowed out eyes, oh and obviously the hair will be hidden under a black bowl cut wig! oh yeah and ride the streets on my tricicle!!! haha! and hey if i get bored half way through the night ill lose the make up on one eye get the fake eyelashes out and be someone out of the clock work orange!!! cunning plan indeed!

This year for Halloween we have decided to pair up together.....DOUBLE THE TROUBLE! We plan to go as half dead siamese twins. We will be joint at the shoulder and our hair will be tied up together in one back combed pony tail! We will both get into a huge blood stained jumper from cyberdog and pink neon tutus, dripping with fake blood!!!! We will both have two pairs of eyes each that will have a thick black curtain of mascara and sparkly black eyeliner. Blood red lippy will be smudged onto our lips and we will wear white gloves with fake nails stuck onto the material. To make our double act even more gory we will have fake scabs in every place possible and pale white skin for a spooky effect! We will both be tangled up in fake cobwebs and we will wear tonnes of disturbing skull jewellery hung over both of our joint necks. Our outfit will be complete by our stary eyes and unison speech! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This year, I'm going as a magician's glamorous assistant. However, this glamorous assistant was involved in a horrific and deadly accident when performing the famous trick, involving a saw and a large box. When the magician was pretending to saw through her, his hand slipped, and he actually did go straight through her torso.

So, I found an old spangly two-piece outfit on ebay, and an artistic friend is going to help me paint a horrible, bloody gash the whole way round my belly.

I'll look every bit the way a glamorous assistant should, with the sparkly make-up and hair, but it will look as though I've been sawed right through, and someone's done a bad job of sewing me back together.

I can't wait!

This Halloween I will be going as a DEAD version of Madonna in the "Like A Virgin" music video!! I bought the outfit of off the internet (Pop bride costume) And will customise it myself. I bought some lace (black and white) and will make a white lace necklace and black lace gloves. I will also hot glue lace to my high heels. I will put talcum powder in my hair to make myself look old, and fake blood literally EVERYWHERE!! :) My hair will be backcombed and is quite thick so it should look good ;) I bought a large fake rose (with a stem, natch) from a haberdashery shop, dyed it black and covered it in fake blood to act as a 'failed' romantic gesture!
I can't wait for this Halloween! :D

Hi this HALLOWEEN! i will be dressing as a zombie school girl using one of my school shirts i will splat red paint onto it to look like blood! and rip it a bit then ill use my dads old work ties which is green and black then with my old black pencil skirt im gonna sow bits of old material into it and also rip it at the bottom then im gonna use my black high heel shoes and black tights which i will cut holes in and then make my hair and makeup look totally freaky! it will be awsum! and the halloween dress for the comp looks fab!

all the days grow cold, shorter and darker and the spiders start spinning their webs there is only one thing that im looking forward to this year:
all hallows eve (:

so what character would be better than the original ' Mary Shelly'
the writer of the famous ' frankenstein'.
i have chosen her because i feel as if she was the one who created
halloween and shes amazing!!!

this is how im dressing up on the night that the dead come alive and dance round their graves (:

hair: my hair is naturally long and white blonde, so i will be back-combing it and
plaiting and clipping in fake cobwebs.

make-up: face: my face will be as white as chalk with blood stains streaming from
my eyes like bloody tears.
eyes: my eyes will be heavily outlined in black eyeliner and i will use glow
in the dark false eyelashes and black glitter on my eyelids.
lips: my lips would also be black with black glittery lip liner so my lips stand
out.

clothes: top: for the top i was thinking of getting a long sleeved cream blouse then
ripping appropriate places on the garment and splattering fake blood on the
blouse using a very BIG paintbrush (:
skirt: the skirt would be long and puffy like the victorian used to wear and i
will rip the hem of the skirt to look like that ragged torn look.
tights: im going buy some fishnet tights and rip holes in them and where the
holes are when i put the tights on i will add fake blood to my legs.
shoes: i was thinking of buying some high heeled victorian styled boots as i
think thats what mary shelly would wear (:
extras: -im going to try and find some loooooonnnnggg black pearls and
knot them for the distrested look.
- i have a black rose ring which i was thinking of wearing on my ring finger.
- i also have a black net wrap-a-round which i would wear over the blouse.
props: im going to look on amazon and try and find a copy of mary shellys
'frankenstein' so that people can recognise me.

Well this year I had decided to go as Princess Peach , with two of my friends as Mario and Luigi-you know the drill, long blonde wig, gold tiara, pink princess dress and long white gloves, with a plush Toad for extra measure, but when I got this email I was inspired to fittingly change my look...I would wear the halloween dress with a black netted tutu underneath for a bit more princessy flounce, replace the white satin gloves for black lace, backcomb my blonde wig to the extreme, and vamp up my makeup, keeping the gold tiara but exchanging the slightly tame pink princess shoes for an edgier pair of killer heels! Of course to complete the look I have convinced my friends to instead go as Wario and Waluigi, and exchange Toad for a much more halloweeny Boo..I'm nothing if not thorough ahaha

This Halloween, I'm inspired by Salvador Dali's 'ballerina in a death's head,' and going as a twisted ballerina! I've got my beautiful black tutu and I've a skull print leotard thing that will set it off! My hair will be in a tight bun and I'll be wearing lace arm-warmers and a friend's black lace-up ballet pumps. Should be ace! :D

Yay! It's almost my favourite time of year again! :) This year I think I'm going to go as Carrie, from the Stephen King novel.. I'm scared even at the thought! I found this perfect pink silk, floor-length dress in a vintage shop and a big tacky prom tiara in Claire's accessories and then of course... the gallon of pig's blood!.. Well maybe a bottle or two of fake-blood... Depending on how brave I am! ;) I've got long rusty coloured hair (hence the name), just like her, so that's that sorted.. now just to master her evil stare!

This year i'm going as Scary Poppins.
'Practically perfect in every way'...not any more! After nannying a brat too many, Miss Poppins flipped out, and made a pact to teach the world's kids a lesson they would never forget!
She now roams the skies shrieking and clutching onto her tattered old umbrella and swoops down on children she suspects are having just too much fun.
As she is now a complete loon, her lovely manners and appearance have gone to pot; lipstick round her chin and on her rotting teeth, her prim and proper navy and white dress torn the shreds from accidentally flying too low through those pesky bushes, and unspeakably bad hair filled with leaves, the screams of children and bird poop! Phew. She likes to wear extremely pointy granny boots too, just so she can give people a kick in the noggin as she flies low over London Town.
...Watch your backs this Halloween, Scary Poppins will be watching you from the rooftops, a screeching 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!' is the last thing you will ever hear...

i'm going as an Emo Minnie Mouse. The Polka Dot Dress, and big bow on my mouse ears, only with alot more blood and eyeliner. My friend is gonna be the Mickey to my Minnie, so we'll rock the style together!

Soo, for halloween i am planning to go as the Joker from the batman!!
This is because i absolutely loved the film and i find jokers deaddd freakyy.
Heres the deal:
I am going to face paint my face white and have black and red triangles around my eyes, a big red nose,(though i could probably manage that without the face paint:D) evil eyebrows and a painted smile.. or maybe frown.. :D
I am planning to wear black ripped knee length socks, my old muticoloured ballet leotard and a black tutu i found in a charity shop.

This halloween im gonna go as a Pierrot Clown,Im taking inspiration from David Bowie,New Romantics and the new Robots in Disguise Video (The tears).
Im going to wear a trapeze dress with sewn on white pom poms,a flouncy white net collar,and black and white harlequin tights with huge black vivienne westwood style platform shoes.
Im also going to paint my face white and do diamonds over my eyes with a big tear under one eye with loads of glitter and red cupids bow lips,then im gonna run at my friends and freak them out like Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes.aaaah aaaah we fade to grey.

This halloween I am dressing up as a zombie sailor. My idea is that I looked like I've been dragged up from the sea, so I'm having my hair backcombed with a sailors hat, my face whitened with seaweed green smudges down my face. I am also sewing little plastic fishes onto my stripey top, and wearing a big anchor necklace. Of course, I'm going for the ripped fishnet tights with little fishes attached too.

I'm really excited about Halloween this year! Hope everyone has a good one =]

I don't know if anyone else has said this but for halloween im thinking an Edward Scissorhands inspired outfit. I know he's not a scary character in the film but he looks pretty terrifying (and also cute in a weird way) I'd paint my face white with dark eyes and black lipstick. For the clothes id have a back polo neck top and black leggings with my new black lace up canvas plimsolls. I'd back-comb my hair and fix with a whole lot of hairspray!

This halloween I will be dressing up as a possessed doll using my black and white gothic lolita dress as a base with ripped tights and . I'm going to slightly backcomb my hair to make it look slightly demented and smudge my eyeliner and lipstick slightly. Then i'll add some fake blood to a toy knife as a final touch ^-^. I was inspired by my friend's art project and the poems of Tim Burton.

On Halloween its my sisters birthday and we are going to have family and friends over, and because of the credit crunch I have a very low budget to spend on her, she will be turning 16 she loves LLROK so if I won this for her it would probably be one of her best presents.

This year for all hallows eve (well actually it will be all hallows day because i'm having a party on the saturday woo!) i am gettin all glammed up as...Snow FRIGHT! mwahahahaahaaa!

I have a cute snow white costume that i intend to goth up by accessorising with black lace tights, platform shoes, a frilly underskirt so it stands out, a cape, red glittery false eyelashes accompanied with lots of red glitter gel and gothic makeup (including black lipstick with red glitter), blood red dyed hair back combed to within an inch of its life and topped with a red bow...and of course, a poison apple!
I'm trying to persuade my mum to let me get a Goth Doll necklace to fit in with the theme...*fingers crossed* hehe =D

I'll wear a teeny ripped dress covered in autumn leaves along with two curved horns coming out from my messy hair. My face and arms are going to be painted with intricate vines/leaves and my eyes are going to be black with eyeliner and ridiculous false lashes. + for the extra halloweeny twist, a set of sharp fake teeth.

Hello.
For Halloween goodness I plan to dress up as a sick cat pinup. I have bought a plastic cone from a vets (the sort that your pet puts around it's neck after an operation), it's for a large dog so it fits a small lady. Then I will be wearing cat ears and tail from fancy dress shop with my black satin 50's underwear from What Katie Did. Why am I so sick I hear your ask? I have a bandage and fake blood for my paw and draw on stitches on the side of my belly - with fake blood oozing out of course.

The reason for this outfit is that earlier this year my mother's cat got ill and nearly died - until my friends and I muscled in and rescued it. We took it too the vets, sent my mum the bill and I took the Sophie cat home. I had to give her eye drops for a couple of weeks to help her get better. Now she is a lot fatter and a lot happier.

Oh I nearly forgot - I will be spending Halloween in Whitby! I can't wait - I'm so excited!!!!!

one of ma bezzie's iz havin a par-TAY for halloween! it iz gonna be awesome she has hired the most gothic church in town and it iz a 'have a good costume or you're not coming in' one (well that's what she say's!!)! No problem for me tho cos i am going as (legend) marilyn monroe!!!!!!!!! i have got a one off cream silky strapless dress - just like the one mm wore in that photo where her dress fly's up. However i am customising it to make in spooky! when i bought it it had a one of those paint security tags on in brown so i asked the shop assistant to let it off on the dress and it looks sooooo much like dried blood!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome! now i have sewed on some fluff in green and grey and ripped the dress so it looks old and mouldy! i will wear make up (black eyeliner and red lipstick) smudged all over my face so it looks spooky and i'll have blood coming out of my mouth!!!!!!!! i have blonde hair anyway so i will mess it up. my skin is gonna be pale and ghostley( it is all year anyway!)

This Halloween I will be dressed as a royal mail postbox, for a friend’s party.
Not an evil postbox either because that isn’t actually scary.
Not very normal, or traditional, and may cause a few questions, but who wants to be dressed the same as half the people at the party? Not me.
I actually thought of the idea when a friend jokingly said, “I know be a letterbox”, and I actually thought it was a good idea.

My costume consists of:
A long sleeved red t-shirt,
I am planning on finding a cardboard box that is big enough for me to fit into it to paint red, and cut a letterbox into.
I am also trying to find an unused mail sack to add to the authenticity.
Red shoes,
Red tights,
A red hat,
Some letters,
And I’m making a sign to stick on the front of the box, that says royal mail, and the mail collecting times.

And I will be baking some ghoulishly tasty Halloween themed cakes for added yumminess.

I adore this dress and would treasure it forever and just never take it off.

I could not BELIEVE it! 3 seconds ago I saw that somebody else had chosen the same thing as my other idea (Alex from A Clockwork Orange), so here's another idea!

ADAM ANT! Highway were scary back in the day, and I'm gonna be a badass Adam Ant-with blood paint stuff for the stripes on my cheeks, a beaten up military jacket, leather boots, plaits and beads in my hair a'la Jack Sparrow, and a metallic pout worthy of a robotic Angelina Jolie. Loads of leather belts and guns, and a good old plastic sword for luck, and possibly a tricorn hat if I can get my hands on one!

BUT if I win the dress, I can be a mixture of Reko gorgeousness, Adam Ant stripes and accessories, and Alex Clockwork Orange attitude!

For this years freakishly wonderful 31st Oct. My roller girls and I will be hosting a Zombie fest called Hallowheels. I am a dead rollergirl in all my gory and am running the Spank Booth. Head split open on forehead revealing very realistic brains with a rather fetchin bullet wound to the forehead. Tutus with ripped fishnets is the way to go and maybe a limb or two revealing broken bones. Greenish/Whitish skin from head to toe with THE most messed up hair. Tresemme Freeze spray here i come!

Who could be more fitting to pay tribute to this Halloween than the mistress of the macabre, the devil doll of Sunset Boulevard - Baby Jane Hudson, Bette Davis' character in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

The deranged former vaudeville star's look will be recreated starting with backcombing my hair for that 'distressed' look, make-up will be striking, shocking and smeared with lashings of rouge and a beauty mark for that old-school hollywierd look!

A vintage tea dress (perfect for singing by the piano...alone) and -of course - cute mary jane shoes will contrast with the manic make-up, ideal for reflecting the light-switch quick moodswings of Baby Jane herself.

FInally to top off the outfit, I will accessorise this with a silver platter (who needs a handbag?) with a dead bird (faux of course) sitting on top, to pay homage to my favourite scene.

Halloween is fast approaching and im rockin the clown look. Inspiration has to be the amount of people scared of clowns, so i'm posing as some kind of murderous, unkillable yet classically lovable clown!
Hair dyed bright orange/red, and totally messed up and i'm talking curling and backcombing galore! Tons of hairspray should also have my hair touching the rafters, literally hair-raising!
Classic clown look but dripping make-up and oozings of blood, vampire fangs are a must also!
Outfit: Cheap clown outfit, rip it, shred it, give it that aged look with the tea-bag and coffee in water trick. Blood splats on the outfit are needed also!
Best bit has to be the download of creepy carnival music will pump from my mini-speakers, i'll have stashed on me, following me around. Classic.
And of course, my creepiest voice and general creepingness in shadows!
Now, the after-party,,,i need to be completely original and unique - that's where LLROK comes in. That dress would totally upstage everyone, and gosh, i wouldn't just save it for halloween, i'd be hitting the streets Xmas shopping wearing it!

Dark pumps on my feet,
With frayed bright laces,
Just in case of those,
Creepy zombie races.

My pupils are covered,
With contacts of white,
Allowing me to scare,
And give the living a fright.

Face paint is used,
To appear old and grey,
People will be shocked,
They’ll begin to run away.

White powder in my hair,
So ancient I appear,
For I desire to be someone,
That the public will fear.

A shabby pink headband worn too,
Tatty but chic,
Giving my look,
An air of mystique.

My hands will be spotted,
As yellow become my nails,
I’ll wave them in the air,
As my body behind them trails.

Dancing and scaring,
Under the disco ball,
For a mummy am I,
The most frightening of them all.

Although I have an edge,
And that is one of ‘rave’,
A funky little ghoulie,
Even before the grave.

as twighlight looms on all hallows eve october 2008 a chilling moan will rise from my attic room lair, my time has come yet again, at this time of year only can i walk the deathly silent streets as my true self, and as the witching hour draws to a close i will have to return to the shadowy depths from wence i came. As all i have is one small hour i shall be bedecked in the hand stitched wedding dress i was buried in, it will trail behind me dragging along the floor, the edges are frayed, stitching is loose and the hems are coming down, it it almost yellow with age and stained with the blood of the young girls i have slain, bathing in their blood in an ever failing attempt to retain my failing youth. it is ripped in several places and the bottom is caked in mud and slime. my hair hangs down my back and trails along the floor, it is tangled and unbrushed. my face is deathly pale, streaked with blood and grime and me cheeks are etched with deep gashes. i have deep bruise like circles ring my eyes (being dead for over 400 years does that to you) my thick eye makeup is smudged and runny with my tears and my skin is ice cold. my lips, black as night, never move nor smile and and drip of blood slides down my chin. my wide eyed stare would freeze the inner circles of hell. a torn veil sits upon my head, it is torn and moth eaten, hanging soft as cobwebs. my feets are bare and bleeding and my fingernails long, jagged and ingrained with dirt and grime, on my left hand is my lady luck skull wedding ring. i wonder the streets at this most cursed time when the evilest of spirits cannot bear to look upon me. i shall visit the site upon which i was imprisoned for the moast hiddeous of crimes and in this way i shall spend all eternity, wandering the cold and silent night, weeping for my sins, never to be forgiven. i am the 16th century hungarian countess elizabeth bathory, one of bram stokers influences for 'dracula'. in my life i drained the blood of over 600 young girls and bathed in it because i belived it would help me keep my youth. when i was discovered i was locked in a tower and fed on scraps for the remainder of my short life. when i have finished trawling the streets moaning fit to burst i will be going to my older sisters halloween house party at her university along with a pumpkin shaped basket of halloween muffins. because im not all that bad.

This Fall my costume is inspired by the 1920s iconic film star Louise Brooks with a twist of Alma Reville the wife of the master of suspence Alfred Hichcock...

This Fall i'm wearing a silky noir no. splattered with blue and red roses with a thin black belt and a noir floral crochet throw-over.with this i'll be wearing matching floral tights, and on my tootsies black and white Art Deco heels.i have a-black-silk-chain-clip-purse and an elegant cigarette holder on the other hand.to jazz-up my costume i have a vintage pearl necklace from a charity shop and bracelets to mach.i also own two ex theatre cream and colourful square earrings.my face will be as pale as a corps and my lips will be blood red. i've a short brown authentic bob and to and to top my costume off i've a fancy gold sequined peacock and scarlet feathered charleston head band (like the angle on the tree only rather sinister.) fancy that!
