Last thursday evening we bopped along to the first Hunga Munga night at Bethnal Green Working Mens Club. We paid a fiver entrance and then moved onto the materials table which was stuffed full of card, paints, sequins, glue, feathers and a whole host of crafty knick knacks. We decided to make fake beards, sunglasses and hats...whilst listening to live twisted folk music and drinking beer and eating scones.
The dancefloor was awash with balloons, inflatable guitars and monsters and cardboard delights made by other party goers. The next one is on June 1st - if you fancy an arty party that isn't arty farty check it out!
Oh and above is Gemma aka Lazy Oaf wearing a jaunty little red hat and dancing moustache. How did we not win a prize???
wow that hat is the bees knees, and as for the moustache....well I think it is very becoming gx
WOW.....That looks like fun.... :)

I like that little red hat! And I'd love to go to a party like that ;)
Ah wicked!! Hunga Munga looks amazing!
Bethnal Green WMC is like the most versatile venue, it hosts everything.
I hope to be at the next Viva Cake on the 20th (i think), see you there?
Oh, and Sarah who does work experience with Gemma at Superette has just started working at office! How weird. It's such a small world.
