We're in full swing with our work experience programme and currently have 6 super creative girlies working here at various times of the week. Sarah (pictured in the middle) is in her 2nd year on the Fashion Marketing course at Northumbria University in Newcastle and is with us for 3 months. She says working at Superette is like coming to work in a candy store everyday and so far she has attended the Margin trade show with us, assisted on our first ever ad campaign and launched a "local press project". Sarah says "I thought moving to London would be hard but Leona and everyone have made me feel right at home! It's definitely a placement for people who like to be busy and enjoy tea and choccy biscuits". Olivia (on the left) is doing her MA in fashion journalism and she has spent every Thursday with us for the past 2 months. Olivia has played a big part in the "Go Go Girls from Outerspace" press campaign and learnt the basics of jewellery making and badge producing. Olivia says "Leona let us 'specialise' in what we want to do like admin/press etc. The time has flown by to the jingle jangle of Nirvana and Arctic Monkeys in Room 1 and Blondie in Room 2." Heather (pictured on the right) is starting at the London College of Fashion this September and has only been with us for a few days so we'll let you know how she gets on!
We're always looking for more outgoing and creative people to join our team! No matter how in advance you want to come and join us - we are booking boys and girls in for the whole of 2006 and early 2007. Click the "looking for work experience" heart on the right hand side to find out more and how to apply! Good luck!
I am soooo jealous of them girls
My face was nearly green when i read it....XxXxXx
wow, bet those gals are havin a great time working for you Leona! I, on the other hand am not having so much fun...i lost my nightmover brooch! noooo! what a fool!
So i think perhaps a minutes silence would be appropriate, for my poor little night mover, in a dark corner somewhere, flashing frantically all alone...
xoxoxoxox
oh my god - if only i lived anywhere near london! damn torquay : (
i love ladyluckrulesok! ok!!
hey leona! got my order today, the go go girls neclaces are beatiful, i can't stop looking at robot lovers eyes! and i love the 'do the twist' earrings. i've been eyeing up those twists on other pieces thinking they'd make great earrings. simple and they look great!
I went to Motel in Leicester today to check out what LLRO goodies they had- and I am sososososo happy :) They had one groove is in the heart necklace which i had been totally kicking myself for not buying while it was in stock.I LOVE IT!!!! :)

ugh! so not fair...although i do live in london it isn't possible for me =( but anyways hope all the girls launch their own companies!
Well, I got my gorgeous new bits this morning - lets play tennis and do the twist earrings - both are gorgeous specimens of Lady Luck's rock-ability. Thanx, as usual!! Will no doubt be back v. v. soon!!
Wow! You must have comandeered the Rocket Ship from the Go Go Girls! My order has arrived...and you only sent it yesterday!! The little Vampire necklace I swore I'd get is so much cuter than I imagined, and the polka dot alice band...well, slap me in Wonderland and feed me chocolate!
Merci beaucoup Ms Leona! xoxox
Nooo! not more cute stuff! Grrr...ur like my wild friend who always persuades me to do things i shouldn't...like buying every type of alice band instead of saving money!
Those girls are so lucky, or, I'm so jealous :)
My Vampire necklace came lightening fast after your email but since wearing it my evenings have become suddenly booked, thus delaying my comment to say how much I love it. I really do. But I'm growing an obsession here. (New Order on it ways to you right now)
thanks for being wonderfully creative and making such fab accessories!

i was desperate to find one.
AND YOU MADE ONE.

woo im at work looking at lady luck and my newest order has been despatched! i cant wait to see my jumble sale teeshirt and robot lover earrings! make more tshirts for meee and all the other ladies that love lady luck :) xxx
Wow
Lady Luck is moving super fast these days, must be all these lovely interns.
I placed an order yesterday afternoon for a lovely Joan Jett Sparkle Rocker, and it arrived this morning.
Now that is service!
I also managed to make the poor postman drop all his post on the floor as I answered in a sleep induced daze, wearing the best spotty pyjamas in the world.
The Joan Jett sparkle rocker can now make friends with the Ramones sparkle rocker, I purchased from Bow wow wow in Leeds (which is shutting down i've been told Boooo!).
Anyway to conclude, as I have rambled for ages, I only hope this service continues when my little sister joins for work experience in May (sure it will cos shes ace)!
And thanks again you busy bees!
helooo
